I bought my wife a 335i sedan (we have kids) and can't wait to bust the engine wide open. Car hauls ass stock but when you have a straight 6 with two turbos major torque and HP is pretty easy to find. As for this video being bullshit... 9.5 to 10 seconds to a 100 is not far fetched. That's stock M3 speed.

I have a 335i coupe that is Dinan tuned (similar to vishnu, but with warranty from bmw...cost more than vishnu but is worth it)...It is dinan tuned, Borla exhaust, AFE stage II air intake, and riss racing downpipes...pushing around 410 hp 420 torque..and this is a light car.. 0-60 definitely not 3.2 seconds...but faster than 4 seconds....second gear is crazy in these cars when tuned...thats why i love it.

Its a tuning company that specializes in tuning turbo cars(evos,wrx sti,and now the 335i and 535i) The stage 1 gives about 460 hp. which for $7k is not bad.

There are many 335i's that can achieve 3.2 0-60 but it is BAD for the engine so you will not see it much.

In the first shot, the speedo went up to 60 not the car - that's what happens when you spin the tires like that. Also, you can easily see the traction light come on at 0:16 seconds.

This is no stock 335i, a procede is a perfomance chip, which effectively raises the hp of a 335 from 300 ( although its more like 330hp)by 80 bhp ( so realistically its good for 400bhp and atleast 400lb/ft torque). 0-60 in mid to low 4s and mid 12 1/4 miles are the norm.

i received the info from 2 different mags online. further, i own a 2007 335i twin turbo and took it to a shop in orangevale, ca. the dino test, 3 times, registered 360 HP. i learned that BMW is sandbagging the HP because it's quicker than the new M3...not by much. also, insurance reasons. i have the coup which is very hard to get. before this, i owned a 2006 mustang GT, which had 300HP. believe me, the BMW is quicker!! it will sink your body into the seat.., mustang wouldnt.

Stock 335i coupe/sedan/saloon does 0-60 4.8sec, dyno showed RW276hp. And it can kill e46 M3 in any gear, not to mention any other car of the class. So, BMW's 300bhp > other's 330bhp.

I think not even 5.3s was 0-60 time given by BMW on paper, it was 5.6s I remember. But all journalists who tested got 4.8s, except one got 4.9s, and not all of them were standard tranny. Yes, magazines will tell you OEM numbers, but you'd look those who test the car... For example Edmunds drive cars looong(6months) to see reliability/problems. They outperformed e46 M3(ZCP) in all gears, 1/4 mile. Their dino showed 276WHP & they were amazed how fast this car was...
