@sirflipper I think the rocket took off with too many G's, Evel blacked out and let go of the stick that had the chute deployment button...

@ChuckieInMT a lot of people think that but we know exactly what happened, it was no doubt the chute cover that was forced off by the massive steam blast. I have pics on my site that shows what happened.
