he was on the east coast for a while and my buddy matt and sean hurley who is playin john mayer now was jammin with mark and they were doin a few shows as pppbbbbfffftttt! and then they went bowlin one night and mark in his wisdom started callin themselves ten pin trio. u have to get that album ppbbfftt! sick! really cool spin off of WBRK in cinn. crazy stuff! miss ya mark come back to pitty ma.
Met him one outside a show at Old Ironsides in Sacramento once. He came outside while I was smoking with a buddy and he bummed a light off me and chatted for a minute and had a few laughs. Really down to earth and cool guy for sure. Glad he finally released Front St. Been wanting these songs forever and a day.
I snuck in Shubas in Chicago (1993?) when the Wallflowers (who were actually opening for him) were loading their drums out as the show was sold out. Went up front and saw him play and sing like no other. What soul. Met him after the show (which was filled with snobby industry types) and told him he kicked ass, and we chatted for a while. Cool guy for sure.
When I was a little girl I used to have a friend lived down the street, Mark was her uncle or cousin or whatever. When they had family get togethers he would come play. It was a backyard concert and BBQ, I loved it and fell in love with his music. Since the disappearance of my tape of "It's only time" I''ve not been able to find another. So I really appreciate these videos.
Sooo glad I stumbled onto these. Years ago, everytime I stumbled across "It's Only Time" in the used CD bins (could rarely find it new), I would buy every copy and hand them to anyone I thought would appreciate his music. For years, I did my best to spread the gospel of Mark Curry.
Anyone know if he'll be playing SoCal again anytime soon? I've never seen him live, and am willing to trek to pay my respects.

Always dug this jam. I think it's recorded though. Heard it for the first time in S.F. I think.

I love this guy's music...I look in used music stores all of the time for his later albums (obviously can't find tenpin alley stuff).
