Fantastic - Sunblest bakeries 100 Stamford Street Glasgow - all gone - how this takes me back ,my dad worked there and I got a job as a van boy - I do know of one generous driver indeed
Cob van as a grocery delivery about 1959/1960. Good memories. No sliced bread in those days, only loaves which I loved fresh and ate the ends out off. Many thanks Mike
Fantastic stuff...We used to have a 'sugary cake and candy man' sell his wares in fernhill, (in a similar van to the sunblest vans in the video)it had ASKIT emblazoned across the front and the vendors name 'MATT' on the side i think, used to sell fruit, veg, cakes, bread and bottles of ginger. Wonder if mr McGinn had a wee side line going in the early 70's ?
anyone know the chords to this song
