  • you have an amazing layout

  • @TannenLeeB typically the light indicates that the locomotive is in operation. Mostly used in/during yard operations.

  • What did you use to make your roads

  • @NscaleAmtrak

I've used plaster, You see my How To at my website under Street and Track.

I've used the same track like elsewhere, at that time Roco. Later I've used Peco. Now I use ME.

At my narrow gauge module Salina I have also street running.

  • What did you use for the track that is inbeded in the road?

  • I am very impressed with your layout and the realism. You can definitely see your love for model railroading in all of your work, the layout, the trains and even the care you take in making your videos. I'm returning to the hobby after 30 years and you are quite an inspiration to the hobby. Thanks for sharing all of this with us.

  • Nice layout! Are you going to ballast your yard? I'm sure you will, to make it more prototypical. What are the depots for? Because, I guess, you're modeling a more urban area. And seeing depots on a city layout seems unusual, like on say 3rd Street Thanx ur sharin'! 5 thumbs up!

  • Your videos are the best I have seen on YouTube I love watching them. They are so realistic! Thanks for going through the trouble and sharing!

  • What are the paper men for? Great layout. Great video.

  • Those flagmen are placed at the points of the turnouts. Unscenecked you can better see the points from the distance.

    Usually they're for Rule 99.

  • Super job. Great layout. Great Video.

Just loved it !!! Thanks for posting and subscribing to my Videos..

  • OMG i love the paint schemes on your personal locos. I still think your 25-ton Shunter is your best one!

  • Great job! I loved the pain scheme your engine and the track weathering toward the begining and end of the video!

  • Man, what could I say... awesome. I have always wanted a thing like this...

  • is this your personal layout or a club layout? and where is it?

  • Love that street running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • KOOL!!! I love operation!!!

  • did you make this all your self?

  • I've build the layout, painted the WT engines and WT cars. And I've made the vid.

  • You have done a fantastic job with your railroad!

  • Yes, I've airbrushed the track when the glue has set. You can see a HowTo (pictures) at my site: follow the links

  • I checked it out, the scenery looked really nice!

    Thanks again,

    R.

  • I've used Tamiya, usually a mix with brown, red brown and earth, sometimes with black.

I oversprayed the finished track with buff, earth and in the middle of the track a black line.

  • Thanks,

Do you spray the finished track with buff earth, after the ballast has been applied and glued?

  • What color do you use to weather the rails at 3:01?

  • That was great! One of the best! Awesome video! 5 stars and fav!

  • great job, wolfgang

  • I love that cute engine!

  • Great vid Wolfgang!

I always enjoy seeing the great action on the W.T!
