the person who is actually in the musical version I saw is a much better singer, her voice is much stronger. This person was just so-so, though she was good compared to others who go on those types of shows I suppose. But than, you have to be the best of the best of the best to make it into a major broadway hit in NYC.

I can't see anyone else winning apart from Susan, but not because of her talent - a lot of it is due to the media coverage she's received. Everyone knows about her, even people who don't watch the show. How can the producers expect a fair final?

Beautiful voice but why pick a song from Cats? On her first performance I remember thinking (before I heard her sing) "Well at least she didn't pick "Memory" or "Tomorrow". Those two songs are such cliches for amateurs entering singing competitions that no one (no matter how talented) will sound good singing them. I really wish she had picked something fresher like "Defying Gravity" from Wicked.
