I remember everytime me and my Brother played this against eachother, he would always choose the Lookout, and when he goes for the Big Bag Attack, he always yells "DENDE, YOU'RE HOMELESS!" right before Vegeta calls out "BIG BANG ATTACK!", then he nukes the damn place, putting us in a crater he created from the Lookout

Vegeta's best move, without risking his life is Final Flash. Final Explosion is basically a suicide attack, but most of the time leaves you with a tiny amount of health. While the Big Bang is just signature.

Final Explosion wasn't until Budokai 3. And it wasn't a "suicide attack", it was a "finish the match" attack. If you won the power bar build-up, you are left standing. If your opponent wins it, he is left standing.
