My first too, borrowed it from a friend. Got scared of the first level, never got to the crypts. Gave it back. Later bought Legacy of Darkness. Loved it. Portrait of Ruin and Dracula's Curse are awesome. I've beaten those three.

@somacruzfirm yeah but I prefer the clasic one, I dont know why but I liked more castlevania 64 than LOD I just liked using the whip old style lol. oh I wanna buy this game again gonna buy it on amazon I dont like playing it on emulator that much

Yeah The Castlevania on N64 are My Favorites beacause there is Vampires and the ambiance is very good !

Yeah totally, really awesome ambiance and the oportunity to see more vampires with personality and a role in the story

@alanvamp I agree, there was good atmosphere, and the vampires in this game were quite frightening to fight. Come to think of it, every Castlevania game you play as a "vampire hunter," but this is one of the only games where you actually fight vampires (other than the ones that are main bosses).

@FluffyBunniesOnFire Yes I agree this was the first and one of the few Castlevania that they really made the vampires important, and now lords of shadows used a lot of vampire enemies.
