He speaks well but probably a little too fast for most. I like many of his ideas, many. I don't like what he says about the Iraq war on terrorism, or his views on isolationism and I think this is deadly.

Just to point out: he's not supportive of an isolationists viewpoint but a non-interventionists one in regards to foreign policy, thus opposing the current neoconservative philosphy of democratization of the Middle East by means of military force. He is pro-trade/free markets, pro-tourism, pro-diplomacy when it comes to interactions with other countries.

Yeah, pulling out of Iraq would be horrible, how can't we kill all those terrorists??? It's not like their are more terrorists in Saudi Arabia or Iran, it's not like this war was based on 9/11! Reagan had a "secret" commission work on a return to the gold standard. Shortly there after he was shot.  I'm not saying the Federal Reserve bank did it, I know some of the conspiracy types will jump all over that. Dr Paul has a much broader vision for what America can be if government sets the people free.

Ron Paul will actually reduce pork barrel spending reducing dbet and reducing taxes, everyone else just promises it and then they go along with the system. It's a shame! America needs liberty and freer markets! Reagan thought of this but didn't understand it! Ron Paul has now got my vote!

You know what I noticed? All the other interviews by the other politicians running, they really don't know how the economy works, and is only saying what they'll do to get votes. i'm skeptical about paul. he sounds good and all, but will he turn into another liar if he gets elected. they all sound good before, but after they are vicious politicians.

I don't blame you for having scepticism about politicians in general; I think it's healthy. I will say that I trust Ron Paul for the simple reason that his voting record in 10 terms of Congress has been absolutely consistent in every way, including monetary policy and taxes. His voting record has been and remains that way because he is a constitutionalist, and he votes accordingly. As long as the constitution does not change, his voting record does not change.

Mitt Romney and Sam Brownback bussed in thousands of citizens to vote for them. Mitt Romney purchased 10,000 tickets and only received aprox. 4,500 votes. Ron Paul bought 800 tickets and received aprox. 1,300 votes. Also, Ron Paul spent the least amount of time in Iowa among the top 5. Ron Paul received about 75 votes per day spent in Iowa, while in contrast Mike Huckabee received only about 35.

This is confusing because it involves understanding what a scam the fractional reserve banking system is and why fiat currencies have always failed throughout history. IF you don't understand how the 'Federal' Reserve works than his answers won't make much sense.

This is an excellent piece. The host was even, honest, and asked some tough questions. Ron Paul of character as well as wisdom provided clear and reasoned responses. I can see any of the other GOP hopefuls answering with "what I'd do is be tough." to a cheering of fox zombies.
