I was at this concert but on the other side of the floor. They put on a really good show. Their two best songs are Shinedown and Stepping Stone and ones I recommend listening to. Breathe and Hard Highway are also really good.
I think the real challenge as a songwriter is trying to have something meaningful to a wide audience. It's mostly luck that you are able to capture the popular imagination of the crowd and forge into music something primal, something that is already within their hearts and soul...
I seen them this summer in Corpus Christi with White Snake and Judas Priest. They have a great stage presence. I totally agree they could use better song writing. I am going to see them again this Sunday with Saving Abel, Red, and Taddy Porter. I dunno, they seemed really cool and I paid good money to see them again... Even if 100 in a 55 is a horrible song. It's like Sammy Hagar's "I Can't Drive 55" being blown out backwards from a homemade crack pipe.
I guess they were. Everyone here loved them. Like Cage the elephant came and the lead singer was really fucked up and they sucked I had heard they are usually okay.
I think this just isn't your music to judge as original. They have just about everything when it comes to what you need.
The only thing I could criticize is maybe there song writing could use a little work. Yes I got to many concerts.
The only music I would prob ever take your advice on would be 80's. That's pushing it because the way you write is very pessimistic, and I am an Optimist.
^ fucking idiot. This is one of the few original bands so you obviously just made shit up. I saw them Tonight they were fucking amazing tore up the stage! They sound just as they do on the radio and albums. They have one hell of a guitarist, Good singer, good drummer too.
