Microsoft office is the standard. Practically all schools and offices use micrsoft. The sad truth is; you should be really familiar with office whether or not you think iWork is better.

Yes you're right. I think that Excel is better than Numbers but it's just my opinion.

The problem with iWork is that, even though they say that is completely compatible with Office files, it's not really that way. Many people experience problems opening Office files in iWork.

So, even though iWork is very good, I would go for MS for Mac...

Nice video, I actually have Iwork 09 and Microsoft office 2008 and I really prefer Iwork 09. It's faster, easier to use, It's a mac only software and it's was cheaper.

You should try office 2007 on Windows - you will be surprised!!! Office (for Windows) is so much better than iwork!! (only Keynote is better than Powerpoint).

i think both office versions are equal since both features are generally the same except the fact that you dont get outlook. microsoft office itself tho is a great piece of software but hey should tweak the price a little to make it lower. its kinda overwhelming

i bought my macbook pro in shanghai china and this is gonna make a lot of people unhappy but in china the apple shops have lots of programs and you can pick the ones you want and they would install it for free and its all real.

I used to be in toronto and new york but china at first was very different thing, like driving a car is much more like if you don't do fight for a spot you never get one and the cars in china is much more expensive but you get used to it.

yes, you can download it from Limewire, i put my Standard version on my Shared library and it's available for anyone to download, it runs faster than 2004 edition and any of these serials will get it working, when Microsoft asks you if you want to register online say NO!

when I got my copy of Office 2008, I relized that it was mis packaged with the wrong( the part number on the product keys) they wouldn't take it because it was opened. In order for them to generate new product keys they need the part number that i located in the inner ring on the clear side of the disc (x**-*****). I will be so thankful if you can get for me, I don't want to have wasted $149 PLEASE HELP

big fan of OpenOffice right here, been using it for a very long time and I've never had problems with it. granted I also still own MS Office 2003, but I don't use it. go figure.
