I played all 3 races, They all have Benefits' It's about putting yourself in the position to use these benefits, Playing Protos as my main race' i found it very hard to get 2 base, or to win off 1base' vs Zerg. And losing mid-late game to a Mass Eco Zerg.
But when i played Zerg, i found Terran to be OP' untill i started knowing how it were done, IN THE END; It comes down to the player himself.

@ODOMAN123 broodlords would not have helped Idra - blink stalkers + voids would have creamed them. he needed the corrupters to take the voids down fast as they were the units he was having trouble with and at the point in time getting the attack upgrade was the better decision, although the best decision was probably applying more early pressure and trying to reduce the void count to avoid that situation to begin with.

People commenting saying that Zerg can beat the Protoss deathball simply by going mass unit X plus mass unit Y aren't helping the issue. SC2 is quite a bit more complex than that, and unit "counters" don't even exist as people imagine them. There's other factors to consider, like micro, upgrades, push timings, etc.
Protoss is SUPPOSED to have huge, powerful units. That's their thing. As Zerg one must be creative and reactive. Watch Spanishiwa, he stomps over 'toss all the time, it's awesome.

Take siege tanks for example, they have 13 range, you set them up and don't have to touch them, they shoot anything in range. Rine/rauder, most cost effective units in the game and the easiest units to micro Ever. +FKN STIM!! Put them up against a race like z where you have an overwhelming amount of units and have to compete against an OP T. Good luck finding the APM to harass anything even as a top pro

Wouldn't an imbalance of your description mean that Idra should lose every time to a pro toss player like Huk? One of the problems is that there's no units that are cost efficient (including supply) vs void rays aside from queen, which are too slow and too weak vs ground units.

@maurer1737 Idra didn't use any tier 1 units. he had tier 1.5-2 with upgrades vs the protoss's 0-0-0 upgrades. Corrupters are supposed to counter colossus, but what counters void ray if he has colossus? Can't really stop a protoss deathball when its done...

@FinalWords has far more units than the other races it's incredibly hard to do anything else. Take siege tanks for example, they have 13 range, you set them up and don't have to touch them, they shoot anything in range. Rine/rauder, most cost effective units in the game and the easiest units to micro Ever. +FKN STIM!! Put them up against a race like z where you have an overwhelming amount of units and have to compete against an OP T. Good luck finding the APM to harass anything even as a top pro

@FinalWords yes, but when one of the world's best/fastest players doesn't have time to harass his opponent you have a problem. That's the problem with zerg, they're a much different race than any other traditional RTS race, which are usually much more like T (queue up units, then go attack.) Zerg mechanics are completely differen't, they race requires far more APM and really just skill to play. Wouldn't an imbalance of your description mean that Idra should lose every time to a pro toss player like Huk? Because I can guarantee that winning as Zerg doesn't come down to whether or not the Toss player fucks up.

Huk has a worst case of BM than IdrA.
Huk is also far less skilled, he hovers around 100-150 APM, while IdrA fluctuates around 200-250.

One of the problems is that there's no units that are cost efficient (including supply) vs void rays aside from queen, which are too slow and too weak vs ground units.
