That van should have just stayed there and let the person try to come over. The jackass would've then been tapped in the bumper and skid out of control, probably crashing just like the van did.
@willietx So? The cops write both of them tickets. The person in the van sues the person who cut him off for a bit more money than the ticket, due to all the other expenses in a ticket. The end. Also, why do you respond to a six month old comment?
number two: the minivan was clearly going too fast. it did not have enough reaction time, and the rule of the road is the person behind is always responsible for the person in front
@xXL3GITAMACYXx1 except in the case of lane changes, the van is not technically behind the car it is beside it...you cannot leave one lane without making sure you can safely get into another Although I do agree the van is going too fast
What makes it worse is that the Moron that cut them off moved towards emergencie vehicles stopped on the shoulder. If anything you move away. Hope that guy was caught and heavily fined if not locked up or at least getting his licence suspended.
In a way I think that police car being there could have saved the lives of the people in the SUV. That thing was just about to roll over, but it ended up sitting on the police car's bonnet. If it had rolled that could have ended much worse.
i think the cops should of closed of the lane and let the cars use the other lanes, i know it was have slowed down the highway, but it would have been safer considering all the action on the side of the road that is going on, like the cops being there.
With any vehicle, especially a top heavy one, you dont want to swerve like that. I had the same thing happen to me in my truck, but instead of swerving i just kept it as straight as i could and slowed down and pulled to the side of the road.
he was supposed to just rear end the car.. i mean nothing really that you can do.. if you swerve off the road you're screwed... the best thing he could of done was slammed on his brakes and hoped for the best...
yah but the children could of got hurt more...idk if he was thinking about it but i think he made the right choice cuz the ppl in the front deff took most of the damge
lol that's why they put a break next to the gas pedal !!!
so if anyone change's his way infront of you ... u can slow down usin breaks
or shift the gear down to 2 or 3 shift if you are on high speed and usin break at the same time it`ll stop faster .....if the car manual works better than auto .. but it works on both gears!!!!

but that still wouldnt have done anything to the guy changing lanes and cutting off the van

I agree, but drivers are supposed to move to another lane if there are cars on the side of the road.

Wow, somebody didn't look before switching lanes ... and that's not an SUV, it's an old Dodge Caravan/ Plymouth Voyager

I don't think they had a choice. The narrator said someone switched lanes forcing them off the road. 0:18

in Amerika sollte man das "Links-Überhol-Gebot" einführen, dann gäbe es weniger Unfälle und Tode...

citi0rhythm 3 years ago
in holland you got 2 sec. bleguim got 3 though

Thant 3 sec gap only makes sense if the person is infront of you.
