They usually do have a few of these at the insect fair most every year, but being protected by law they are fairly scarce. I can't hardly image how impressive they must be in flight! =)

At 0:25 the big brownish ones on the left side of the display are the females of those brightly colored males on the right. The birdwing butterflies are some of the largest on earth in both weight and size. The female of the Queen Alexandra's Birdwing Butterfly is the largest in the world, with a wingspan of nearly 12 inches! It's quite rare and protected by law.
