It's E sharp, but not standard E#; I tuned top E to 446 Hz instead of concert pitch 443 Hz using a chromatic tuner.

Practice with a metronome, slowly until perfect then increase speed gradually. You need to train your fingers in good technique through repetition. Peavey Valveking 112, no effects. Thanks.

With all due respect man, I loved the fact you pulled off the intro using your guitar and overall it sounded great. But fact of the matter is, in 3 seperate live clips with Jason, Rob and Cliff playing the song you can clearly see them doing the intro. Hammett does his part later but the initial intro is all bass.

Thanks for voicing your opinion without being offensive, but actually the FACT is that this is MY COVER. Therefore if I wanted to play Lars' drum part on a baked bean tin, I could. I did it because I wanted to and enjoyed it, not least because a long powerchord intro is boring. It has nothing to do with respect or lack of. Isn't it obvious I have huge respect for Metallica?
