I got my dragon and he seemed to be deprived of regular baths, the normal veggies and a good diet of insects. I've only had him for two days and he's already looking better!
I love how bearded dragons kind of "peck" at their food like a bird instead of just reaching down and picking it up slowly. I guess that's just their instinct to get it before it runs away like they do with crickets and other fast bugs.
I need some help with my bearded dragon. First off, i need to know if tap water is bad for her. Second, I need to know if its bad to give her more fruits than vegetables because she doesnt like vegetables. Thanks for your help
You're talking about "citris" right? That's different from citric acid. Citris is what comes from oranges and lemons, and is organic, while citric acid is artificial. Weird how they make it sound the same.
Well no, actually citric acid is in citrus fruit, it a weak organic acid and is one of the reasons for their sour taste. Google it and I'm sure you'll be able to find more information if you want.
They are doing much much better now... the male still has some trouble trying to stand himself upright but his color has improved 100x's and is now eating his greens.
They both had Coccidia and some other internal parasite but have been to the vet and have been recieving medicine!

Tap water isn't bad... no fruits... nothing with citric acid. it isn't good for them. Mainly mustard greens, khale, squash, zuccini, cucumber....
