@hipstermi It is usually contemporary music I think. I agree alot of Christian singers tear up and some may be fake but I feel it is because most like Kari are using their gift to work for GOD. I cant sing and usually dont tear up when I sing but when I give my testimony or speak to a Church about my past or speak to kids about my past and their future I catch myself tearing because I feel that when I am doing so there is somehting about it that makes it very emotional.

Kari is a huge inspiration in my life. She makes me want to chase after my calling to be a worship leader, and chase after God with all my might! Her voice resonates deep in my soul. Get this, Kari came to my church this past spring and sang for a revival and after the services, she would go in the back and play with the little kids. It is too fast and too heavy on the guitars. There is no solid groove in the rhythm section, and that takes a lot of the anointing out of it. Slow it down, and put the punch and syncopation back in, and it would be perfect. All of the abstract stuff on the drums in the beginning isn't needed either. Just keep a solid groove.

this is the first time I've heard this song. I'm 26 and I have a large herniated disc with severe nerve compression that is causing me to lose feeling in my lower left leg and foot. I need surgery but have no insurance. It's been 6months that I've been living with this. I cant lie down I use a cain to walk and a wheelchair at the grocery store. I am also a mother of 2 children. I think Kari sings this beautifully. Even though I am not a lesbian, I respect her for coming out. God doesn't need to heal us of sexual immorality. The writer of this song is Michael Guglielmucci, who wrote it while supposedly inflicted with cancer which turned out to be untrue by his own admission. Lots of money was also donated to him as well. Get this, Kari came to my church this past spring and sang for a revival and after the services, she would go in the back and play with the little kids. She would pick up a little kid or kids who had medical problems and she would sing "Healer" to them. She is such an inspiration to every boy and girl.

@taylorandbrody it is not that they don't like this song, they don't like this particular version. I like Kari Jobe, but I don't care for this version either. It is too fast and too heavy on the guitars. There is no solid groove in the rhythm section, and that takes a lot of the anointing out of it. Slow it down, and put the punch and syncopation back in, and it would be perfect. All of the abstract stuff on the drums in the beginning isn't needed either. Just keep a solid groove.

this is the first time I've heard this song. I'm 26 and I have a large herniated disc with severe nerve compression that is causing me to lose feeling in my lower left leg and foot. I need surgery but have no insurance. It's been 6months that I've been living with this. I cant lie down I use a cain to walk and a wheelchair at the grocery store. I am also a mother of 2 children. I have lost all hope of getting better but this song is amazing.!!! I believe he will heal me!!!

our God is an awesome and the perfect healer....i had really bad mental breakdown with depression suicidal schizophrenia plus epilepsy from a child and took myself off my meds (which don't recommend if you need them) and just trusted in God 2 provide my healing from these havent had a relapse in my mental in nearly years and november last year seen i had an epilepsy attack and its all thru me being able 2 say this is yours leave everything in his hands and at his alter and i believe im healed
