Hating all these comments about bear being fake and having a safety harness etc The man is sick! He is out there doing what he is saying, surviving! I would love to see the average person going to the places he goes and surviving the enviroment and adapting to its resources. They wouldnt have a clue where to start.

He is ex special forces which is best of the best and you can see this with his reactions to surroundings. Yes he has a film crew that give him advice etc but this is all Bear!

Yeah, well, I guess there is only so much he can do in an environment that doesn't offer enough challenges.

I'm sure some location are the opposite, he could make 5 episodes in one very spot.

Bear Grylls should do more episodes in the Canadian Rockies, Alaska or Siberia (just to name a few) he'll never run out of adventure ideas.

@7iga Only some situations are presented to Bear so he can demonstrate his survival skills. Killing the animals, eating them, the stunts, the advice, the techniques are all real. Sure he doesn't spend the night alone in these locations. He goes to a base camp near by with his crew. The hotel humor is false. Remember, Bear is not meant to be actually surviving in these locations, he's showing us how to. People throw the term "fake" around to loosely.
