Thinking of growing in my closet, if i covered the inside with tin foil, then got my seeds to germinate then plant them in a pot with decent soil and somethin like MiracleGro for the nutrients and have a UV lamp / Sodium vapour lamp & metal halide lamp fixed on it for 12 hours a day while also using like the tube from a hose fed into the closet as a way of ventilation, would that method of growing produce a decent yield?

@supah4xor first tin foil is not very good either paint your walls white or buy something like an emergency blanket its reflective and cheap.....second never use miracle grow it will kill your plant and if you get decent soil like fox farms you dont really need to use nutes until it goes into flowering stage.....just put a small little fan in there with it the hose will pry just be a pain in the ass idk about your lights but i use hps and during veg stage keep lights on for 18 hours and off 6

@headachestudios1 400 watts aint much man. Dont worry about it. I have an electric heater in my bedroom thats 600 watts. Almost everyone has or has had a 400w hps anyways. Probably your neighbor. They arent going to give a shit about 1 plant anyways lol. Why would they use a helicoptor equipped to measure heat and infrered and fly it all the way to your house, then if they see something suspisous they gotta go to a judge get a warrent, have a couple cops drive to your house for 1 plant. haha.

Has anyone tried to use the "Banana peel method"? Like putting banna peels around the bass of the plant? I know it works on roses and on some vegetables but unsure if it effects taste, the liveliness of the weed, etc.. If anyone knows and or has tried this please let me know :)

@FPSROOSTER - Really any type of Fruit peel works, even egg shells. I've grown plants before using Standard fertilizer with Banana Peels, Egg Shells and Orange Peels mixed in and it works great. I'm assuming it's the Vitamins and Protein that help.

@1984LizardKing Ye once the radicle emerges and you sow it in your medium you can put it under the light...make sure it's not too hot though, especially if it's HPS...seedlings don't need much light, even those small twisty CFL's would do, just hold your hand over the plant for 5 seconds, if it's too hot move the light back..what sort of light and seeds? Feminized?

So in the 4th week of flowering I put a 16inch male clone in with the lady's. It seems like the thc % level went up a bit close to harvest. I can visibly see more tri comes :) which I like. Had to keep a close watch on the male so I could rip him out of there before his seeds split open. Has anyone else ever noticed the slight amount of extra glands between the 6th and 8th week when you throw a male in there? I did everything the same too, from light to ph levels & ppm.
