I looked up the Darfur thing, and I've managed to gather that it's a country in Africa where a lot of people are dying, but I couldn't quite grasp why...explain??

Google "the devil came on horseback" its a documentary on the Sudanese Genocide. So basically Darfur is a region in the western part of the country of Sudan. There's been a civil war in the country for the last 20 plus years. To stay in power the current govt is selling its oil to Chinese oil companies. Most of the oil is in Darfur. The govt uses the money to buy weapons and pays its arab citizens to kill its black citizens.

Also google "lost boys of sudan." This should get you started.

Ending the genocide will take diplomacy, money, and tough military action. Bad people will have to be shot, and good people will probably get shot in the process. Youtube has not proven very supportive of such hard choices in Iraq. Are you doing this to make yourself feel good, or do you care enough about the people of Darfur to make a video supporting the hard, bloody choices that will have to be made to end the genocide?
