mickey rourke was beating her, which is why whitaker tells owen that mickey can be "beautiful in some ways, yet such a jerk sometimes" , and then playfully tells the dog "mickey, mickey how can you do this to me?" imagine adriana lima screaming that at the top of her lungs. And Owen realizes that Mickey beats her and thats why he does not want to help Mickey.

Thats the difference between amateur and professional film. The Amount of effort in time that goes into the piece. Its not just some chump shooting a camera. Over 10,000+ man hours can go into something that you only see for a few minutes.
