I'm re-watching this now for background while doing MS Surface programming (fuuu) and I found Vurt, Snow Crash, and Neuromancer for about $1 each online so I'll let you know when I finish them. I would recommend Rainbows End by Vernor Vinge, it's about a world not too far in the future where people have body suits with contacts that can provide virtual overlays to the physical world. It also talks about how the ability to find data will be more useful than actual knowledge.
i never really had trouble with the motion controlls maybe i'd mess up a couple of times but that was certinaly not a game breaking element . also 20 times to cut a tree lol
The arrow in Okami is there like twice in the whole game!
Also, the good thing about the Wii version over the PS2 is the brushwork. I personally don't find it hard at all, and it just adds to the gameplay. You guys must just suck at using the Wii remote.
I loved about The World Ends With You that they were quite original. It is not common nowadays to see fresh ideas in video games, everything is a remake, a new game for an old franchise (wich will be practically the same from the old ones) or a copy cat from some popular game. Also it is totally customizable, you can control the girl, the guy, or both at the same time, and many other options. I really loved it.
That is exactly how I feel about the Wii version of Okami. I have the PS2 version and the wii version and I am shocked of how much crappier the wii version is.

For line drawing on the wii, if you held the Z button it acted as a handicap for drawing it straight. other then that i was able to do it perfectly fine with out it.
Wow, that piece you guys did on Baroque was really sad. I actually have the game. It was a niche title. It was meant as a psychological game. The more you cleared the dungeon, the more you died, the more things changed and the more you find out about the character. The graphics were a bit out dated, and the gaming mechanics were sloppy, but it's a sort of roguelike game. Not the best, but most certainly NOT ass. You want ass? Pick up Octomania. Now -that- is an ass game.

In Okami on Wii, you really have to get used to it. Still, drawing straight lines is probably the only large problem. But the rest of it is so awesome. If Okami EVER gets a sequel, it NEEDS to be on DS or Wii, but be more lax about the drawing. Oh, and Yuzo, the arrow was always there. It goes after the first hour or so. Okami is awesome...
I have Okami, I have The World Ends With You, I beat both of them, I want Baroque, but my parents won't let me have it because they listenied to some store manager who said it was too hard.
Well, they went to get it for me, and a guy at the store said, "Don't get that for her. It's too hard." So they didn't. And they STILL won't get it for me. I just found this out last week. Did you know that they made Baroque for the Wii now? I really need to get that game, but I don't want it for the WIi. Let games originally made for the PS2 stay on the PS2, that's what I say.
TWEWY's story is so awesome =D and the characters are very memorable. I read the postmortem on it in game developers mag, they put a lot of effort into that. It was a collaboration between Juptier's and Enix's studios if i remember correctly. Must have for DS owners, nails all the gimiki tools of the DS.
To respond as an only Wii owner: Since I have no standard to apply it to the motion controls were manageable. Maybe I'm just used to gimmicky nonsense in my action games.
I love this review. TWEWY is THE best DS game ever. It is unique, beautiful AND fun... and you can't forget all the crack it has, you guy should've mentioned the funny moments it has, those alone makes the game worth it XD

You do know that you can hold the Z button to draw straight lines. The controls feel much more smoother in the wii version than the ps2. pretty poor review.
I have a question. The wall behind your guys is an illusion correct? I mean, i looked at it before and it looked 3'd but now that i looked at it really deep and asked myself why you would color the wall and have bottles on them and then i noticed that its actually a straight wall.

TWENY is the best DS game ever. Okami has an art style of no other game. And both have game play of none of any game. And that is why both of these games make my top 10 games of all time.

Okami was pretty easy to get used to! Using the brush was fun, I didn't have any problems with it.

I have both versions of Okami. So I can see how much your well, bleh, about the wii version.
However, the wii version is like HeliumCowFilms said, you need to get used to it.
My hands shake alot, and I do mean alot, so its hard when your doing the dots and stuff.
But after it a while you'd get used to it.
I do prefer the PS2, however, those who just have a wii should get it, they'd get used to the brush after a while.
My sister is 6 and can play it quiet well on the wii.

I own Okami on the Wii, I've beat it twice. The drawing does not annoy me at all. I've had a little difficulty before trying to cross out names, but it didn't take me twenty times to get it right. >.>
I think Okami for the Wii is fine.

...did it ever occur to you that when you play okami you should hold your arm steady or rest it on something?... ever? I never once had a problem with the drawing. Never.

I was watching the reviews for The World Ends With You and you guys gave the best review for it! I really love the game and your review gave me such a good laugh as well! I've been looking at reviews for The World Ends With You, and you guys are the first people who gave it a great review. Ok well i do see you guys posted this video in April but if the drawing is so bad in Okami i suggest you get the attachment for the wii remote that increases the motion sensing by alot and you will probally never have to take it off its a great invention and it saves alot of frustration with the crappy motion control it already has and im pretty sure the company that made this accsesory is Niko :) thanx bye!(and btw reviews are awesome somtimes not always the most accurate but still awesome)

You do know that you can hold the Z button to draw straight lines. The controls feel much more smoother in the wii version than the ps2. pretty poor review.

Wow, I'm really glad I found this.
I thought Okami looked awesome, but I've been so uninspired to buy ANY video games lately because I'm afraid I'll be stuck w/ something that sucks.
I have a Wii and a 360, but I'll eventually get a PS3, so I guess I'll wait to play until then. : )

I have a question. The wall behind your guys is an illusion correct? I mean, i looked at it before and it looked 3'd but now that i looked at it really deep and asked myself why you would color the wall and have bottles on them and then i noticed that its actually a straight wall.

okami ish hard for wii~ i hav it for ps2 and wii version doesnt even hav the ending D; i hate wii anyways i only lik gawl and it would suck if they made a sequal for okami and it was for wii D;

I don't think they realise you can hold Z to draw a straight line in Okami =P fair call though, and also you need to swing to attack in Zelda, so yea, same deal.

im gonna get the world ends with you next. but im in the middle of my friends copy of Mario and Luigi, partners in time. i plyaed the orginial for the game boy advance and it was good. but this one is a little boring cuase its the same one as the original. but im gonna suck it up and play through it. im getting braid and geometry wars 2 this week too

TWENY is the best DS game ever. Okami has an art style of no other game. And both have game play of none of any game. And that is why both of these games make my top 10 games of all time.

if you're talking about the fusion levels you can upgrade them by purchasing them in the shops
but if you wanna get all of the levels you have to beat the game first
