Chip, Thank you for making this documentary. I cried as I read about it in the Mizzou Magazine. Everyone has a story. Thank you for sharing these stories. When does the movie come out?
There was actually a multi vortex tornado. when the darkness left me and my sisters rushed to the car and drove under destroyed powerlines to our home in Webb City. we had no idea that the tornadoes stopped at the edge of the churches property. my friend just got back from Mike Huckabees talk show a week ago. praise the LORD for protecting us! turns out my b-day was the 27th. i worked for 3 days including the day of my b-day at my church. i never told anyone it was my day.
i survived the most dangerous tornado in recorded history! safe beneath the ceilling of Joplin Familly Worship Center. NO ONE can tell me that God did not protect me and his people from satans work! God saved me! i was not afraid to die. i was not scared. i know i am alive for a God purpose! Joplin will never be the same. the human knows to cry out to its Creator during times of need!

As one of the painters of the wall now called the "Hope Wall" on 20th and Main i have been touched by the reaction, stories and pride of this town that i now call home...This is inspiring and shows america the true meaning of the human spirit....thank you for making this....Vincent Alejandro
This is amazing. You took something terrible that happened that I don't think people all over the nation understand, and you are going to help them understand. This is incredible work. Real people from my own hometown. People that I know. I appreciate your work. I can't wait to see it.
Thank you. I still cry every day for what we all lost that day but we are strong. We have already done so much. And we will not stop until it's beautiful Joplin once again. This is an amazing story that needs to be told and I hope that it gives people the strength to continue to astound the world with what we can do. Thank you so much for this.
i am a joplin native and an aerial silks performer... i dreamed i was hanging from a crane the night i left after my first trip to help (three days after the storm)...i am willing to donate my talent in anyway if you can use it...my heart if full for the city of joplin, full of guilt for not being there and full of pride for the way it is rising up...
I would like to talk to you if you are interested in more survivor stories. My 9 yr old daughter has an awesome story. Send me a message if you want to talk
Chip, I met you and your parents in the parking lot of a "closed" McDonald's on Rangeline Rd while you were gathering info for your documentary. I'm from LA and had come up to volunteer for the weekend. I'm so happy to see this work.

It's a miracle that many people didn't die because this was a truly horrible tornado , I'm blessed.
Hope to rebuild soon!

Thank you for showing what is happening here. Everyone has pulled together to help, to pray, and just show each other compassion. I am so thankful.
