  • I'm sure when John king whacks off he's thinking of his "magic wall".

  • To answer CoolScoobydoo's question, "I wonder how this is going to turn out."

    Barack Obama (D-Illinois): 52.92% (365 electoral votes)

    John McCain (R-Arizona): 45.66% (173 electoral votes)

    Margins:

    2004 Presidential: George W. Bush (R-Texas): 2.46%

    2008 Presidential: Barack Obama (D-Illinois): 7.26%

    2004/2008 Shift: D + 9.73%

States Flipped (2004 R to 2008 D): Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, and Virginia. Plus Nebraska #02 (Omaha area).

  • No, it is not a state. That's why it doesn't have representation in the House or Senate. It was specially created as a non-state district to avoid giving too much power to any one state.

  • Not to mention Missouri was wrong in 2008. That's the first time they've goofed since Adlai Stevenson in 1956.

  • Looking back at this video now that the election is over, is anyone else stunned by the fact that Obama was only at 50% in CNN's poll of D.C.? He won D.C. with 93% of the vote.

  • That was the NATIONAL Poll of Polls.

  • So what, it was still wrong.

  • Also North Dakota should never have been a toss up. I don't know why so many sites and news organizations had North Dakota listed as a toss up. McCain won North Dakota by 8 points. North and South Dakota should have been listed as lean McCain.

Also, Ohio and Florida should have been lean Obama, Maine, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada all should have been safe Obama. West Virginia and Arkansas should have been safe for McCain.

  • LOL @ 2:27

    "State of District of Columbia"

    There are 51 states now!

  • Based on what John King said this is true. Undecideds in a biracial race overwhelmingly vote for the white candidate. Because of this, that is why the Democrats and Obama stressed early voting and powerful get out the vote effort, and appealing to young white and hispanic voters-he knew that black voters would support him, but he appealed to young white voters who voted for 55 to 45 percent Over McCain and hispanic young voters voted 70 percent for Obama.

  • Why is it that when he "Brings up the states" with the county views >> 1/2 of the states are McCain... NO OBAMA GONNA WIN!!!

  • actually it doesnt matter if half the states are red its the ones with the bigger amount of electoral vote that swing for red or blue. For instance california a solid blue state has 55 electoral votes vs montana a red state which has like 3 or 4. also take a look at the 2000 election gore did not nearly have as many states compared to bush yet he beat him out in the popular vote. this is because the new england area and the westcoast has more population than say the south or midwestern states.

  • Because those areas are vastly rural and with small towns-they are not very populated. Obama wins the more populated ares small cities, suburbs, and big cities.
