That Wifi DOES sucks, SSBB is a game where multi-player is a MUST. Why Nintendo doesn't get that?? You can't even play a decent 1vs1 match, let alone talk with a random player you met on game.

@TheLovemusicguy personally, i loved nintendo back in the day...i mean yeah i grew up on my game boy color and NES (parents didnt wanna upgrade to 64 but i experienced it thru emulation), but in my honest opinion, Nintendo has gone WAAAY downhill after the gamecube came out. the last great Nintendo system for me was the N64, and that was back in the 90s. ever since the turn of the century Nintendo has been riding on games like mario and zelda and even those games have been going downhill......

Wii doesn't have many good games with good storylines, plots, or cool characters. There is nothing wrong with Mario games, but Mario doesn't have any interesting plots, or intriguing storylines. Zelda has a storyline, and Metriod does, but most of the games Nintendo focuses on simple doesn't deliver on that front. Games are more than just a challenge like the way you play pong, they immerse you into another world, into a actual storyline. You make such elementary statements in defense of the Wii

An "M" rated game from Nintendo is the equal of an "R" rated movie from Disney. I say this because any M rated games for Wii are FPS, which for the Wii is an absolute discrace. Such as Modern Warfare Reflex, and Dead Space Extraction. Speaking of not doing research, have you ever even played a 360 or PS3? Wii doesn't have many good games with good storylines, plots, or cool characters. There is nothing wrong with Mario games, but Mario doesn't have any interesting plots, or intriguing storylines. Zelda has a storyline, and Metriod does, but most of the games Nintendo focuses on simple doesn't deliver on that front. Games are more than just a challenge like the way you play pong, they immerse you into another world, into a actual storyline. You make such elementary statements in defense of the Wii

There is simply much more games on the PS3, and 360 to enjoy. You sound like fanboy. A Nintendo fanboy will defend the Wii by never admitting it's flaws, and try to find reasons to justify in it's defense. Graphics aren't everything, but they do improve game-play, and allow more freedom. You think Resident Evil on the PS1 would of been just as great on Atari? If yes, you delusional fanboy. Wii doesn't have many titles that have storylines, plots, or characters. Wii has weak online capabilities. All Wii has is Nintendo mascots, which constitutes 95% of Wii.

Wii has tons of RPG's with great and involving storylines, and great games depend on gameplay, not story. Look at "The Last Remnant" on Xbox360. The storyline is great, but the game is a steaming pile of dog shit. When I play a game like Twilight Princess, I get immersed in the world because they make it IMMERSIVE, not because of the story.

I really don´t understand why hardcore gamers hate the Wii so much.
you must understand that the Nintendo Wii was not designed with hardcore gamers in mind.
It´s a console aimed to casual gamers. To people who like to gather themselves to play. If you´re hardcore, you probably enjoy games playing alone. Playing shooters or action games with other people only mess up your concentration.
For what it is proposed to do, and for the public it is aimed, Wii made a great job in the market.

Honestly buying a wii was a waste of time,after you get all of the flagship games(mario zelda etc) whats next? there isnt much to choose from and then theres the countless remakes of old games, and if you could find aa decent game, the motion control was the ONLY way to play it, which sucked....ppl like me who had the original NES and SNES got denied street fighter, ninja gaiden when the wii came out, the gamecube was the beginning on nintendo's "kiddie" era, im finished with nintendo, no more

It's why in the one and only official console vs PC gamer competition a couple years back even the best console players got painfully, embarrassingly owned. And can't afford a good gaming rig? Even $300 (the price of a new console) will build/upgrade a computer that is more powerful and has better graphics than the now 5 year old 360 or PS3.
