its not what he did, but how he did it. watch 'pitchmen' on discovery channel to see what im talking about. he took something like sales pitching, which most of us looked @ with disgust, and showed it can be done with integrity, and he took infomercials, which most people hate, and actually made us pay attention. even if we were laughing and asking 'why are you yelling?' we were still paying attention, so he did a good job. he didnt sell anything that didnt work, and he was self made, thats why!
