Why Does HONEY HONEY IN DANISH Break my Heart? Travelled nearly 3000 kms to meet a beautiful Girl, just rounded the corner at Hughenden (Dinosaur country) in Queensland, when the Danish version came on radio. I knew I was on the homestretch. To meet the girl I loved and lived with for 2 years. Travelled that way to be with her for (for the very first time) Christmas 2008. Cyclone Yassi blew my love away. Sorry must be this time of the year.

@adigital1 Now I feel better because I am learning Swedish as well. Like you, I am having a difficult time speaking it, Its dificult but not imposible. I will be going there next year, and I am counting the days.

@redstar127 good luck with your swedish! and you are welcome here to Sweden :) there are some lessons in swedish here on youtube, that gives you the basic grammar ^^ I believe it is difficult for others to learn swedish but like you said, it's not impossible :)

To be honest, the swedish version reminds me of something teenagers from the 70s would write, but maybe thats what they were....

but it does sound very simple not like the english version

When this song was released in 1974, Frida and Bjorn were both 29 years old (Bjorn is the oldest of the four ) ...Benny was 28 years old, and Aggy was a young 24 years old. These were the early 70's and times were much simpler back then. You could basically write anything and sell records. Singer/songwriters ruled the 70's.

I lived in sweden for 5 years and swedish isnt so hard to learn but was hard to pronounce in the special way that they do. one big problem i had was alot of people would reply in english when they found out i was from england, you had to get used to speaking both languages all the time.
