Keep in mind that when you first learn tbf or just started learning it. It will cost you atleast 4 days till 2 months to learn it. Depends on how fast you can learn and how trained your fingers are. Also when you can do it on the wall does not mean you can do it in combat. switching from dbf to tbf may fuck up your timing in combat and i can recommend you to clear at least torn page 13 with tbf only before proceeding to glads/dm. Good luck learning it!

You can't see yourself animation lock, you can just see animation lock by ohter players. The only way to see yourself animation locking is by recording it and watchting the replay...

Well I saw 2006 made video on youtube about dragonsgate, it was 2 slashes on ground, then tbf/dbf. So I believe in that.

Lol, Joeturf2 you'r amazing keep up the good work, I will try using this guide for TBF for now i will train it for a while.

Well, if the shieft not good for flip then he better stay on the block :D TBF with right click for block is much harder because it makes you need a new button for flip and hang, which makes it much harder after getting use to your keys.

Reccomendation:Do what Joe said otherwise you will stuck yourself in more some years of train and get use to keys.

@SprintKiller1 i see what u mean. if u were used to shift it would be much easier because u are using both buttons. That means it's like pressing one button using both hands. I hate that i use right click but it's personally hard for my hand to use shift. I can dbf perfectly, but tbf requires shift if u want to get it done faster. If u are using right click, train hard and know the timing and speed for tbf. spamming wont work.

Wow, i was doing TBF by accident all the time. SOmetimes i kill them with a slash i dont even know from where it came from, cause im blocking after a DBF and they suddenly die if they are in front of me. Happens frecuently also, i should test against the wall. Cause i can say i dont know TBF but all the steps you mention are extremely familiar and already done automaticaly when im playing.

I sometime animation freze on dbf, I can bf hang 5/10 times. I animation freeze sometimes while I do that tapping glitch( in town).

And still I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK!

The last slash simply won't come. seing vids they get their second slash at the end of the jump, mine comes when I am on my way down.

Well, if the mouse can move, and doesn't freeze, and wireless, it's a whole different story. As long as a mouse can MOVE, TBF is possible.

"Bufnuf" you're a retard. None of his slashes were grounded. "FantasyBuss" the very first slash block is NOT grounded whatsoever. "Smilefry" The main difference between regular TBF and Dragon gate is that Dragon gate does NOT have to be TBF. The divine gates are not there own standalone moves per say. The divine gates teach you how to go from action to action with minimal delay inbetween each action often causing The "Animation freeze" that you see.

Also, the "Animation Freeze" is done through pure speed, if you did a Ground Slash, it would not "lock". Also, the "low" slash you saw, was a replay error. If you did it regularly, you would not see it. Watch it in replay, and BAM. That's what you get. Also, Smilefry, TBF is counted by "3 BFs Per Jump". Dragon Gate is BEST defined by number of slashes per second. Though they LOOK alike, they aren't.

A last note: This video only shows how to "Triple Butterfly" Rather than Dragon Gate.

PissingPwnage, there IS a way to get it that low. If you can do BF Hang, which is Jump>Slash>Block>Hang, and get the hang, do it again, record it, and watch it. Then say that it isn't that low.
