I was in Fremantle in February last & saw a Canadian babe singing & playing the guitar at a street festival..she was a powerful, charismatic performer..gr8 original songs...the crowd was cheering for more.....in contrast, M Washington is yet another Aussie chick singer/songwriter who the music accountants have picked up to sponsor...for about 2 years until they drop her for the NBT.....no artistic hook at all.....nice enough though...but not compelling.
