AS a former soldier I think if you haven't served you should keep your mouth shut. Deserting is not the answer though there are others depending on him. Stand for what is right. After taking a stand for what was right I was discharged. Know the USMCJ.

If you enlist you need to be more aware of what you are getting into regardless of how bad you need the money.The lure of money is causing some of the problems here.They need to make it clear about the nature of going into the service and the recruits need to be smarter about their choices.The arrogance of this rep lobbyist does not serve well to inspire enlistments.He should use a better approach to the problem and give solutions not just attach the deserter and spew pro war propaganda.

Well, like the military analyst said, he could have gone there to prevent the war crimes from happening. Plus, he could have also switched to a non-combat position. Medics have to heal the wounds of all people, friendly or enemy.
