I'm sorry but I agree with Pete. He's talking about the stereo versions of their records, not the mono. That stereo panning instruments left, vocals right sound empty and lack something. The later ones, from the White Album on they sound better because the mixing is done in a better manner that in them early records.
@obexley7 that's not true. It's just different, and anyways, you really can't say that Revolver is shite, because it sounds like you're saying just that.
Johns' reaction to Keiths' antics at 3.50 is beautiful. He didn't smile or laugh that often did he, in fact he didn't seem to do anything for the most part except tear the Bass guitar to pieces. For me that's what makes this little moment of intimacy so wonderful.... Stopping now, I'm getting all weepy.
Happy Jack is too funny :)
this is great so far

if you're talking about what he said about the beatles, there's something wrong with you. Pete didn't mean it, the beatles and the who were friends.

@MattAyroli The stereo versions don't even have the input of the Beatles!!!!! Someone else made those mixes, they were only interested in mono!

whether it was the beatles or George Martin, I cant stand people judging Revolver negatively. Have you any idea of what you are saying???
MattAyroli 2 years ago
Yes, that the stereo version is bad and as so is the Amercian version of the record as well!!! The true great Revolver is the English mono version!
