@supermantahoo I think the anti-infinite system is supposed to be player activated. This is just a combo exhibition, so a lot of these combos aren't necessarily practical.

@supermantahoo The anti-infinite system detects loops that start with the same normal, whereas that combo used a different normal to start every loop. If they used the same normal to start even one more loop, the combo could have been bursted.

@BackwardsMan when she charges some of her moves aka holding down the button, she get super armor, when she goes into her rage mode she deals more reflected damage from said super armor, there is a video on gametrailers about her armor and how it works, or you can find it on youtube somewhere but either way worth a look :)

@Sperium3000 the rage mode lets some if not all her command grabs to cause a bounce state, her super armor reflection damage is increased and i believe there is another one, but either way there is a painwheel breakdown video out and has been for a while, might want to check it out, they do a really good overview of her

i feel like the 'hit' effects with the slight pause and the flash makes it hard to see the full animation of the move being hit with. That was one thing I liked about 3rd strike was it seemed so fluid in animation, where as for example in sf4 when ur coming/hitting somebody the slight freeze from the hits makes the animations look so chunky and blocky. In game play ive seen how nice and smooth these animations are but in the combos they seem to be the same sort of blocky/chunky sometimes

@IISADHD That delay is intentional. They stated it was to add a sense of power and force behind her attacks. A sort of "weight" I suppose. Fits to me. Besides, a Youtube video is a bad representation. The framerate on this video is literally half of what it is in person, and in person, it looks perfectly fine IMO.

@2XGodxSpeedXd Yeah agreed. Filia seems to be quite banal in a lot of departments being a prototypical "Ryu-ish" character, but I feel we still haven't seen the extent of her abilities/mixups.

@spiffythealien You're correct, Painwheels attacks act like super or EX Attacks while charging, attacks that hit, but don't break a charging normal simply add damage to it if the charging move lands.

@09gh ya it's pretty sick, there is a video out on gametrailers that explains it, if u didn't know her super armor works like instead of getting the damage the armor actually "deflects" the damage if it hits within the time the move absorbed the damage, and her lvl 3 "the one where she goes purple and crazy" gives 2x the damage from her super armor (along with a few other things) so bascially she took her own super damage and then some.

have to say still looks better the UMvC3 :P
