  • I herd in an interview with brand that nobody laughed about the george bush joke.. they seem to here

  • I have to agree with the Brits about their obvious superiority in the humor department over Americans. American men would think everything is especially hilarious and witty if they sounded like homosexuals too.

  • Love the way he says fuck off

  • Americans dont get english witty humour!

  • @richesforcheap I dooo,

  • HIS FACE AT 9:45 KILLED ME XD

  • God the snowman carrot bit killed me lol

  • Alright yes vma shit was funny and i like russel bramd a ton but yall sayin americans are stupid or narrow come on your being a hypocrite..you cant generalize a whole country like that. Especially one as diverse as ours yeah there are plenty of oversensitive idiots but there are just as many people who love this humor..including everyone is just ignorant especially if you havent been here. I dont hold yalls irritating comments against all british folks

  • Same script as live in new york :L

  • @mega1690george there you go then

  • Same script as live in new york :L

  • I'm American and I think he's fucking hilarious!

But Dear Lord, some people need to learn to take a joke over here across the pond.

  • Just like to say I'm american and I think that was fucking hilarious

  • i want to build a snowman now ;)

  • there are a million of children, couldn't we just let him have a couple.

  • i hope you all like carrots!

  • how do the captions get "on his own skin through their mail which is mainly on the torch rosso dates the americans" from "i was hosting the vma awards just me me on me todd russell against the americans"

  • THAT IS NOT WHAT JESUS WANTS!!!! gos hilariousxD

  • Russell Brand is Awesome! X

  • I recommend everyone watch this with the captions.

  • @buffal0buffal0 hihihihihahaha oh god great

  • Comment removed

  • @ilymelissa8D he didn't insult Barack Obama, he's in favour of Obama, he was insulting George Bush.

  • @itsmecarmen ohhh sorry i didn't listen all of it ... :S ... but i don't like russell brand anyway i don't like the way he acts ... :D but thxx

  • I got this on my phone, I used to listen to it on the train and I just burst out laughing... He's hilarious... I read in an article (US newspaper) that the reason why the humor of Brit's is so difficult to understand is the fact that they have any. That's a whole lot of crap... I'm not even British and love you guys, you have quite an intelligent sense of humor and I think Americans need to open up a little more. Tht's not supposed to be insult, tho ;-)

  • Wouldn't you love to be on stage!!!

    The house lights are off...

    so Russell is actually...

just talking to himself in the dark.

He certainly can't see the audience...

but he can hear their laughter...

    which is their feedback.

    Kind of like masterbating....

    and hearing your own voice.

    What a great job.

  • I just saw some of that immigrant gypsy paedophile snoooooow!

  • "The Brucie" lol

  • wheres clip 4 at?

  • damn, he can really get his legs up high!

  • Pisses me off too Russell! Stupid virgins lol

  • i hope you all like CARROTS!!

  • IMMIGRANT GYPSY PAEDOPHILE SNOWWW!!!

  • British humour is way MORE clever and spontanious than American humour. American humours sounds to me much more prudish and slapstick.

I think european humour in general is much more daring!

  • DON'T TELL THE DAILY MAIL!!!!!!!!!

  • SNooooOWWWW THERE IS SNOOOWWWW IMIGRANT SNOOOWWW IMIGRANT GYPSY SNOOWWW IMIGRANT GYPSY PEDOPHILE SNOOOWWW

DO NOT MAKE A SNOWMAN IN YOUR GARDEN IT WILL SOME INTO THE HOUSE AND F**K YOU ALL!!!!!

lol class ^_^ Me and my friend amy watched this last night and since then all weve been saying is SNOOWWW!!!! ect.

  • "But I can say it in London >:) "

  • Fucking brilliant.

"LET JACKO FUCK KIDS" BRAGS BRAAAAANND.

  • I HOPE YOU ALL LIKE CARROTS LOL BLOODY BRILLIANT

  • I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO GET MY LEG UP THAT HIGH!

  • 'for jesus? that is not what jesus wants'

  • If anyone from the daily mail asks you 'did he say anything contemporary during the show we can use to confuse people' TELL EM TO FUCK OFF!

  • SNOOOOOWWW!

  • haha ,the snowman bit ;) !!!!!

  • The Jackson jokes don't sound so funny now... He needs to do his research. Jordy Chandler didn't make the allegations - his dad did - and he committed suicide soon after Jackson died.

  • Don't

    Tell

    The

    Daily

    Mail.

Legend :D I was there at the O2, brilliant night :)

  • I am an American... And everything he says is pretty much true. People in this country are stuck up and need to chill. And this man is brilliant last week I didn't even know who he was, then I say his comedy central special... reading his own death threats brilliant!!

  • Seriously in love with that man, him and Noel Fielding are just gorgeous xx

For someone who left school at a young age, he has an incredible domain over the English language. He is incredibly talented and a lot more intelligent than people give him credit for. Borderline genius.

    Not to mention sexyy ;)

  • as an american and texan i must say Russell is a genius and speaks the truth. He is hilarious! (and very sexy)

  • the VMA's sucked but that wasn't his fault ..americans aren't stupid, people in general are stupid--- the same people who made fun of Bush themselves were the same people who whined about russell at the VMA's...in general from country to country idiots span every country --- poor russell, I would've laughed

  • The snowman thing has me laughing to tears. XD

  • dude, if i had been at the VMA's , i wouldn't DIED laughing, especially the thing about the president.... americans have no sense of humour. and i can say this because i am american, although i've been living in canada for the past 5 years.

  • As an American I have this to say:

    Russell Brand is a genius.

I would've stood and screamed my enthusiastic support for his "retarded cowboy" comment, had I been there at the VMAs--after all, he spoke only the truth.

  • I can't seem to find a clip of Brand saying that to the about George Bush at the VMA awards.

  • Russell Brand is bloody brilliant

  • ahah..Russel Brand is AWESOME!!

  • Thanks for this vid

  • FUCKING GREAT

  • no negative side effects in any of his sons haha

  • It's pretty obvious that there is a difference in American and British sense of humor. Some Americans need to learn how to take a joke.

  • @sevilayaydogan

Actually a lot of this material on the VMA's is on his Live in New York stand-up routine, and the audience had pretty much the same positive reaction

  • and how to aim their rifles AWAY from the other allies.

  • @sevilayaydogan I entirely agree with that. And I'm American. The British sense of humor is so much better. I feel like we're lacking. :P

  • @sevilayaydogan yer British people are better at taking the mick out of them selfs.. Americans cant do that so well!

  • russ is a legend

    my fucking idol

  • "Don't tell the Daily Mail!" Wonderful. Just ordered the DVD, can't wait.

  • You can tell how influenced he is by Bill Hicks in this clip. It's so wonderful.

  • Those Michael Jackson lines are classic.

  • Love it youre a star cath. . . .

  • His VMA script wasn't hurtful. It was honest and appropriate. Americans are just stupid and narrow (and violent), even though Russell would never think or say that. As an American, I can tell you that it's true.

  • Congratulations on the International move. As Bon qui qui would say, "Bye!"

  • hehe, nice final line.

  • @colibri1

I am also an American and i completely agree.

  • @colibri1 Doesn't every nation act stupid and narrow (and violent)? I know the UK does as well as America and every other nation on Earth. Some jokes work different places. As a comedian, you have to know that.

Russell is brilliant. He got a lot of publicity out of it because we are still talking about it. It was a smart move on his part. He meant for it to be this way.

  • @colibri1 YES! youve got the right idea, unlike the stuckup arrogant yankees with no humour

  • @colibri1 ya cus uv met all 300 million of us right? or aleast most of us

  • @colibri1 ya cus uv met all 300 million of us rite? or atleast most of us

  • @colibri1 if u were a true Russell Brand fan u would know that it is not right to be ethnocentric, or if u were a real human being at the least. Nothing is wrong with being an American. If it was an American who did the same thing he did in your country it probably would have turned out the same way. A year later i do believe you all were on his ass for his sense of humor remember Andrew.... He just was not in our circle of trust yet, but now he is and we love Russell :)
