  • Paul Robeson, a great humanist, a brave man, a ziese neshumah. Listen to all his music! Remember his talent, his devotion, his brilliance. And let us remember for whom he sang.

  • A great singer, rights activist paying homage in the best way he could. I lost many relatives and this man simply offering love, respect and caring. This can only be a good thing.

  • @paulzinader I too lost huge chunk of my family, entire family of my father was murdered in Ukrainian Shtetle... thank you Paul for the Kaddish, especially today, on the day of Holocaust Remembrance..

  • And my relatives were slaughtered in Lodz and Kolo and the relatives who made it here were broken and never recovered. Let us not fight my brothers and sisters, there is enough grief to go around. For now, so many years later, Mr. Robeson reaches out to my soul.

  • the kaddish is a doxology --with its origins I believe around the time of the 2nd temple--for whom can it be said read Rabbi Oshri's responsia--

did any of you know Big Paul did any of you crawl down a hospital floor like my mother suffering from lupus to say good bye to him? did any of you go to his funeral where I recited Kaddish in private for him? Hpw dare you!!

  • I had never heard this before. I was brought to tears within seconds.

  • Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WONDERFUL!!!

  • Extraordinary

  • Of course the Berditchever was not about "this." He was pre-Holocaust and living in an earlier age. Paul Robeson advances the Kaddish to where it should be today, because he was a more evolved being than the Berditchever. If Levi Yitzhak were alive today, he would be on Robeson's level. A million blessings on the neshamos of both of them. Peace for all.

  • @RebMeAH

Hypocritical new age nonsense. Who are you to judge who is more advanced?

  • vivascargill, Berdichev is not about that. Or you hear what you want to hear?

  • @vivascargill If you can do that, I can rededicate the Kaaba to Buddha.
