  • This instrument plays very well. I love it's sound. I am wondering about the bellows, however. You footwork is very fast or it may just be my perception. Has it been restored?

  • The bellows and reservoir must be leaking air like a sieve to need to pump the pedals THAt fast!

I'll see if I have time to do this piece on my reed organ showing the speed of the pumping action needed, the organ was rebuilt in 1985ish with new bellows cloth.

  • Yes, this organ was leaking air badly at the time. The bellows have since been re-covered and a vacuum suction unit has been added.

  • this is just perfection and absaloutly amazing, i love the sound of the organ, love the tune because it was one of my nana's favourite hymms and it is just so beautifull

    thankyou4posting this...

  • brawo!

  • I'd like to see the other two reed organs!

  • Thanks, they are better. I'll post some soon, please check back!

  • A third reed-organ : congratulations ! Thank you so much for your video ! Do you know who build your instrument ?

  • This particular organ is a Kimball. I also have a Packard from the mid 1800s and a Mason & Hamlin.

  • W-A-W !!!
