  • my left ear loves this song!

  • Any Colour you like in the solo ;D

  • good job!

  • nicely done can i sample this to an instrumental im working with? in combination with samples from david ruffins rainy night in georgia. if so ill send it to you when im done.

  • Awesome cover Good job :)

  • Floyd's sheep indeed! Love that.

  • S90ES, FUCK YEAH. Love mine.

  • hey are you playing this in D? when i play it on guitar its in C sharp

  • The key is C#m7. C,D, F & G are sharp.

  • @mnight2 Live they played in D

  • the key is in C#m7. C,F,D & G are sharp.

  • where did you get this tuning for the song? i thought you played the black keys at the beginning?

  • is this the same key that led zeppelin originally played it in?

  • Any Colour You Like solo with a bit of Atom Heart Mother vibe to it. I love it!

  • @Adam12088 a little bit of careful at the beginning too

  • sick

  • For some reason this reminds me more of the tool cover than the original. Which BTW is phenomenal.

    Good video

  • I'd add in the low D on some kind of bass synth, but, It's awesome as it is. Great job!

  • beautiful...

  • Im lucky that my keyboard has a setting on it labeled as "No Quarter" :) How cool is that!!!

  • excellent job with the synth sounds

  • Wow.. very nice and cool. You took excellent songs from two great bands and melded their melodies together. Great choice of songs, even though one is in a minor key and the other in a major key.

    Now do something by Santana!

  • Dude, What effect do u use? How do i do it on a Casio Keyboard?

  • great version with the effects .i only have a yam s30 but it has EP 70's sound..its like a fender Rhodes.. i dont no how to get the chorus vibrato effects........still new to sythn stuff..........count me in a a vote for a lesson ..........thanks omar

  • am i not PF fan enough to understand the reference?

  • @Brando2600 in the middle he starts playing 'any colour you like'

  • @Brando2600 The reference is echoes i think

  • is it just me or is your rhythm out of control?

  • awsome!

  • Please make a lesson man.Please.

  • You should check out Tool's cover of this song, somewhat a similar mindset as you performed in.

  • I hate to neg your vid, but the song is mainly in the key of B (five sharps). The guitar riff needs E to be the low note.

If you are ever tempted to transpose to get into a familiar key, don't do it. Learn the hard keys and you'll leave the other kids in the dust musically.

It's always awesome to learn Zeppelin, so keep at it!

  • great!!

  • Wow i love both no quarter and any colour you like songs man i recognized it at once! Darkside of the moon is probably the most album i've listened to.

  • My favorite LZ song, I can't get enough of it.

  • dude you have to make a lesson of this! you're friggin awesome!!

  • @FcBarcaman1193 Thanks. I haven't gotten around to making a lesson, but I could do that sometime.

  • awesome...john paul jones would be proud :)

  • That was a great cover! You really have the perfect sound for that song.

  • GENIOUS

  • you have a yamaha s90 sweet I am a proud motif owner. Nice playing man . R.I.P John Bonham

  • i am a huge pink floyd fan but i couldn't recognize the solo. what song is it suppost to sound like? echoes?

  • @chrismarshall1950

sounds like the solo of any colour you like

  • you played it with no emotion or accents but i still think it was very good :) keep working on it :)

  • Great cover and phaser sound!

  • hi man!

    very best cover

i have a yamaha keyboard but i dont ´know what is the sound to play that song,

thanks for play this song, is my favorite song

  • @memachomenos Which keyboard do you have? This sound didn't come with mine — I tweaked effects to create it myself.

  • how can i get that sound through a casio privia

  • @led4thehead14 You won't find that kind of sound on a Casio, but you could take a Rhodes electric piano patch and run it through a phaser guitar pedal.

  • @omarmorek

i think i get it now, you detuned your keys so you're playing one semitone lower? my best guess.

when i hit the white keys in my keyboards it sounds different

  • @mazdaplz I didn't transpose or detune any keys. This version is in D (like Led Zeppelin's live versions), not C# (like the studio version).

  • i can play this on guitar, love this song :) great work man

  • random any colour you like solo ftw

  • Dark Side is my favorite album, so well done.

  • Ok! XD Sorry for my mistake...

    Bye!

  • Is very good!!! Congratulations man! Really good!

    But...this song isn't in C#?

    Bye...

    ^^

  • The song was recorded in D, but Jimmy Page slowed down the master tapes to make it C#. They always played it in D live.

  • great work!

  • nice!

  • Hey man you're good, I would like to see your opinion on my version. Bye

  • this is epic please tell me you have sheet music? :D?!

  • Wow....you are amazing.

    :p

  • Thanks. I like to play. *ding*

  • wow, your good.

  • Richard Wright and John Paul Jones Combined lmaoom awesomeee

  • it sounds exactly like when zep did it live

  • no comment :o

    YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

  • Nice job, but I have a question. Isn't the song in C#m? It looks like you are playing it in Dm - I'm not trying to rip on you, just curious. Did you transpose your keyboard or are you just playing it a half step up?

  • The song was originally recorded in Dmin but Jimmy Page slowed it down to be in C#min because he liked the sound of it more. When they played it live, it was always in Dmin (except for the 2007 reunion, when they played it a full steop down in Cmin).

  • to add if you dont understand what "slow it down " meant, pagey was an amazing studio producer, he basically slowed down most of the guitar and keyboard audio tapes and re recorded drums over it. when you slow down tapes, like slomo the sounds get lower and the tempo slows. I have the bootleg of the original, its faster and the drums are a lot different,

  • he used a vari-speed.

  • Hey man, Im looking for a keyboard/synthesizer and i was wondering what this one is that your playing?

  • Yamaha S90ES

  • Very well played, great feel and great choice of patch too.

  • I actually programmed that patch from scratch. I've tweaked it a bit more since I made this video.

  • one of the sickest things I've ever heard......but then again I'm loaded off my face so take this with a grain of salt....

  • wow real good job man.how did you learn this, by ear or sheet music? I want to get sheet music for this

  • awesome man u r amazing !

  • wow man ur amazing

    keep those zeppelin covers coming

  • Wow!!! Can you play "All of my love", too? It would be excellent!!!

  • hey man awesome can you do trampled under foot?? cuz i want to make a collaboration of that if you can.. just piano nothing else where headphone its awesome!

  • Sure, I'll do Trampled Underfoot sometime.

  • good arrange.nice job.

  • awesome!! Can you give use a tutorial video

  • I could probably do that.

  • Beautiful!!!! Thanks

  • The middle reminds me of something!?! I just don't know!?!

  • It's "Any Colour You Like" by Pink Floyd.

  • O yeah!

  • teach me!

  • omarmorek: You're welcome, but the thanks is to you. Looking forward to any new videos you post. (I have always wondered what the opening part of Judas Priest's "Fever" or "Cathedral Spires" would sound like from a quality board.) Keep up the good work.

  • great job man

how much did that keyboard cost you?

ahh this song is too beautifull haha :D

  • This guy does a really nice job with the essence of this classic song. I put this on high quality through a high quality cinema sound system and hear it throughout my home. Sounds stellar indeed. Not sure when this person created this video, but this is one of those kinds of works that only gets better with repetition. Would love to hear another (new) rendition. Again, superb job by this keyboardist.

  • I am "this person". Thanks a lot for your comment, I hope to post a few more keyboard videos in the future.

  • Any colour you like? a great choice and a welcome change

  • any colour you like

  • muito bom brasil

  • Classic song well played!

  • heh, I love doing quirky stuff with that section. I should go into Son of Mr. Green Jeans sometime and see if my band catches on.

  • any colour you like!!!!

    great job!!!!!!

  • awsome. great sound

  • the solo doesn't really fit,

The entire song is very Legato

and the solo you played was very staccato

    other than that its great,

  • I just playing around with fitting in the Pink Floyd bit in there. I usually play something closer to Jonesy's original.

  • great job !!

  • this is awesome. i just started playing piano today and this is the second song im learning and i learned by watching this. thank you for posting!

  • why would i hesitate to give u 5 stars??...u r amazing...great song by led zeppelin..

  • nice job fitting "any colour you like" in there.

it doesnt really fit with no quarter but its cool.

  • I think they fit reasonably well. Bit of a different style, but they are both in Dmin dorian.

  • Excellent rendition...especially the timing & feel. 5 Stars!!!!!

  • I love this song too, awesome! try to play Trampled Underfoot!

  • I love playing Trampled Underfoot.

I'll record it and post it here soon.

  • wow. i LOVE this song

  • It's one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs too ... especially live versions.

  • very good bro... ur good =)!!!

  • How long have you been playing?

  • I've been playing acoustic piano for about 7 or 8 years now, and have been playing keyboards for about 2 years.
