nicely done can i sample this to an instrumental im working with? in combination with samples from david ruffins rainy night in georgia. if so ill send it to you when im done.
Wow.. very nice and cool. You took excellent songs from two great bands and melded their melodies together. Great choice of songs, even though one is in a minor key and the other in a major key.
great version with the effects .i only have a yam s30 but it has EP 70's sound..its like a fender Rhodes.. i dont no how to get the chorus vibrato effects........still new to sythn stuff..........count me in a a vote for a lesson ..........thanks omar
I hate to neg your vid, but the song is mainly in the key of B (five sharps). The guitar riff needs E to be the low note.
If you are ever tempted to transpose to get into a familiar key, don't do it. Learn the hard keys and you'll leave the other kids in the dust musically.
It's always awesome to learn Zeppelin, so keep at it!
Wow i love both no quarter and any colour you like songs man i recognized it at once! Darkside of the moon is probably the most album i've listened to.
@led4thehead14 You won't find that kind of sound on a Casio, but you could take a Rhodes electric piano patch and run it through a phaser guitar pedal.
Nice job, but I have a question. Isn't the song in C#m? It looks like you are playing it in Dm - I'm not trying to rip on you, just curious. Did you transpose your keyboard or are you just playing it a half step up?
The song was originally recorded in Dmin but Jimmy Page slowed it down to be in C#min because he liked the sound of it more. When they played it live, it was always in Dmin (except for the 2007 reunion, when they played it a full steop down in Cmin).
to add if you dont understand what "slow it down " meant, pagey was an amazing studio producer, he basically slowed down most of the guitar and keyboard audio tapes and re recorded drums over it. when you slow down tapes, like slomo the sounds get lower and the tempo slows. I have the bootleg of the original, its faster and the drums are a lot different,
hey man awesome can you do trampled under foot?? cuz i want to make a collaboration of that if you can.. just piano nothing else where headphone its awesome!
omarmorek: You're welcome, but the thanks is to you. Looking forward to any new videos you post. (I have always wondered what the opening part of Judas Priest's "Fever" or "Cathedral Spires" would sound like from a quality board.) Keep up the good work.
This guy does a really nice job with the essence of this classic song. I put this on high quality through a high quality cinema sound system and hear it throughout my home. Sounds stellar indeed. Not sure when this person created this video, but this is one of those kinds of works that only gets better with repetition. Would love to hear another (new) rendition. Again, superb job by this keyboardist.
my left ear loves this song!

i think i get it now, you detuned your keys so you're playing one semitone lower? my best guess.
when i hit the white keys in my keyboards it sounds different

@mazdaplz I didn't transpose or detune any keys. This version is in D (like Led Zeppelin's live versions), not C# (like the studio version).
