@Sochiye. Aap ne yeh wazahat kar ke hame soch ka aik naya zaawiya diya hai. Faiz was a revolutionary poet and his poems were often viewed by the subsequent Pak regimes as hits on them. I admit the original has the thunder of Faiz saheb's kalam. It's sad that with all their power they were scared of a poet's verse. It's true, pen is stronger than the sword.

be-shak har tarah se behad Khoobsuurat Ghazal hai.

The last sher of this Ghazal, as I've read in books, and heard from other singers is: "chaman pe Ghaarat-e-gulcheeN se jaane kyaa guzri qafas se aaj sabaa be-qaraar guzri hai

"

However, here Noorjehan sings this instead: "Khizaan ke haathoN guloN par na jaane kyaa guzri chaman se aaj sabaa be-qaraar guzri hai " If you think about it, clearly this version is much weaker in meaning than the original sher. modifed by censors?
