I don't understand why it is sad, carrageenan is grown and manufactured using not a single artificial chemical element, the weeds are grown in the sea without fertilizer, preliminarily dried in the sun and then in kilns using a fast renewable source of wood fuela (kakawate in tagalog), ground, washed and dried again in the sun. That is all it takes.
