It would be cooler if it was by pick attack plus volume level(the higher the volume the brighter the led, and so the note and light fades at the same ratio) i don't know if i explained myself clearly.

Really nice song and excellent tone from the Strat and equal regarding the performance. I think nyou are onto something very cool with your Twinkler, but I would do more research into how your twinkler can adapt to the guitarists note picking and the actual sustain of each note. I am very serious and I did not write this to be negative, but to be CONTRUCTIVE on what I think would make this product a real winning bit of added showmanship.

depending on the make the pickups wont be waxed so the cover will slip right off so no destruction needed

Isn't very hard to do: A transistor, which amplifies the signal from a real pickup is used; You also need a battery for the current; To the output of the transistor you connect a resistor and 6 leds in series;

If you don't know how to realize this with a transistor you can buy a little microphone preamp for this;
