The first location is newnham on Severn in Gloucestershire. Or pretty much the same spot can be reached if you look at a road map from the M5..Junction 13. Next decent tides are in August.

The first bit was filmed on Monday 7th April and the second bit the following morning. Were you there?
With my son, we were next to the canoe on Monday.
Should have used the Worzels instead of the Beach Boys ;-)

Yeah we did, but that wasn't me, it was the main cameraman and I don't have this footage unfortunately.

If you miss it, you just get out, get in your car and get ahead of it. And the more experience you get with the bore, the less you miss the launch.
