You just run into a bush or something. Just kidding. There's a brake lever you lean back on with your calf that activates a V brake against the rim of the rear wheel.
I wish you could keep the disk brake. That was one of my biggest problems converting. Right now I've just got a shoddily assembled bracket to hold the brakes taken off a mountain bike that needs to be adjusted regularly and is not very robust. Older model dirtsurfers had pad brake mounts that would have been useful in this situation.

hey i just notised that the electric wheel is on on the back tire so how do you stop/slowdown without the brakes?!?!?!

oh so you replaced the dick brakes with v brakes and i have a dirtsurfer and i was wondering if you could keep the dick brakes wile useing elctric
