you're doing well in that soarer. what's the specs on that? active suspension or air bag or what? =)

Not an active. Did have airbags years ago but now has Tein Flex coilovers and whiteline swaybars. When this video was made it had individual throttlebodies and 175rwkw but now it's been twin turboed and has 277kwkw. Knocked 8 seconds off my lap time :)

The redhead sure has some mumbo in a straight line. He'd get better lap times if he'd brake earlier and get better lines into corners though. At least he gets the car onto the track and has a go, better than many supercar owners.

More like a line at all. He's a foot or more from the apex on half of the turns, haha. He must be an amateur, although you'd think he'd need a ride with an instructor before going solo for a track day,

the ferrari guy is a fun driver... i am sure, that an other driver will be faster with the ferrari. This model 512 TR is not easy to drive fast... and the car has 1600 kg weight... but only experts are able to drive this car to the limit. Believe me! i am a insider...

Not a free for all track day. These were timed sprints. We're all amateur as we don't get paid for this. Results were Ferrari best 1:59.08, Soarer 1:59.29.

I do smile though when I see my little 1600cc clubman was 2 seconds quicker though ;) 1:56.92

Pretty quick for a clubman! I've twin turboed the Soarer now and did a 1:51.9 in May :) Didn't get any vids though but will be back in August.

I reckon the guy in the soarer is a better driver. The Testarossa is the better car though I reckon.

To be fair to the Testarossa driver it's not an easy car to drive fast. It has no power steering and a small steering wheel plus he doesn't have a race seat. Straight line speed is amazing - he just walks away from me.

Yeah I guess you also got to take into account that the Ferrari is an older car.
