I have this phone for 3 months now and I do not recommend it. The only advantage I like is the keyboard which is useful for writing emaails, SMS, etc. I was a Nokia fan but now, they let me down. I will definetely not buy Nokia again

N97 mini: the worst phone I ever had: it's slow; it's confusing that some functions need a click a some others a double click for no reason, funny that no one in nokia saw that it's unstable when typing on a table due to tha camera objective in relief, if turned off it forgets all alarm notes during the off period,

(white version) letters on the keys almost invisible in sunlight (printed in light cyan on white), has no register of last numbers used.... bah

no good phone..believe me i bought one last week and i could not use it anymore. it always hung up and the last time i use it was last saturday. i could open it anymore. it stops until nokia name and i could not enter my pin code because it hungs up....

my n97 mini always hang up. i just bought my telephone last week and now it wont work anymore. when i open the telephone i could not read to the part where i could enter my pin code. it is full loaded with battery. i can only see the name nokia and it stops right there....i thought this is a nice phone, but no...it has no worth at all..the price is too dear and it look so beautiful with its style but it will only last for a week. no good ...

@xzaxx the keys are pretty convenient to use, though the spacebar is weirdly positioned because it kinda bothering the typing experience, but overall its pretty easy to use the keys

but resistive screen is more acurate than capacitive, and now this has kinetic scrolling...why would you want capacitive again? aside from it being glass, which is nice but its not as acurate

i believe ur wrong, lol i actually like capacitive, but the fact is resistive is way more accurate than capacitive. which is why you can use anything from a stylus to your nails on the screen. its just that capacitive seems to be a little more smoother response wise, BUT software can be used to make resistive the same smoothness in response, and software such as kinetic scrolling is one of them. look it up on the net you will see im right

I prefer resistive as well, is better.

Especially in the winter, when you have gloves on or something. And i like writing with the pencil on the phone

I have used this phone while it was in prototype, the screen is awesome. It feels so solid, with the brace that supports the screen is metal. Plus the home screen when closed is customizable to make it you own.

Lake N97, Symbian! A great fone, but dont worth the money. N900 is more expenseive, but is much much better.
