Would somebody please tell me what do I have to do to access these trainings?? Where do I have to go, I already finished the game, I need this training so I can get the trophy for all gadgets and upgrades.
I just did the 1st of this set (the tunnel one) and this way worked best: Dive fast and pull up / release dive bomb at the last -- this is where 90% of the timing is. Then tap the dive bomb lightly once just to dodge the teeth at the tunnel entrance. Don't freak out in the tunnel - it will look like you're going to hit the floor just ride it out to the last ring.
From the # of views glad to know I'm not the only one that went lookin for some dang help with some of them..haha.. You make some of em look easy..lol.. Thanks
Much appreciated for this video, 1 and 4 were kicking me in the backside. Couldn't work out how to do the twist while diving til I saw your vid (I was trying to pull up after the second, do a big loop then come back. Duh). Plus the tapping dive on 1 really did help, as I kept hitting those tonsils or whatever they were that stick down half way along the tunnel. Tapping dive just before them then quickly pulling up again sorted that out. Cheers!
BOYAAA MUTHA FUCKASSSS FLEW THRU ALL THE RINGS PAST THE ICECREAM TRUCKS TOUCHED DOWN IN FRONT OF A FENCE W A DO NOT ENTER SIGN ... what i "learned" is there is a bit of a sweet spot but also have to pull up out of the dive right, too hard and u fly up into the teeth to little u touch the ground, has to be just right...I flew into the tunnel a few more times than my last comment but i kept freaking and trying to adjust....just fly as straight as possible unless u r sure your gonna hit something
tryed this like 100x at least it seems u either wait too long to pull up and pullup so hard u hit the teeth at the top of the entrance to the tunnel...or try to pull up too soon so try to pull up again...but too late, i hit the ground.Made it into the tunnel twice(no applause necessary) I might have had it but i tried tapping the button while in the tunnel as suggetsed, touched the ground maybe 4 feet from the last ring!@@#$@$ the second time i made it in the tunnel i hit something hanging down
that first one was a bitch! the other three i got on the first or second try. i kept hitting the ground or the clowns teeth! i never want to see the Tricorner Naval Building again!
this vid was really usefull..the feathering of the dive button never occured to me at low hight thanks dude :):)......(apart from the odd retard making stupid comments lol)..
first one took me like about 11 to 13 tries to do second one like 5 the other two only at most like 2 tries glad i'm done with the story mode 100% batman in one of few video games i finish 100% i got games i stop'ed playing like half way through mostly cause i get bored of them quick. But have to say single player games keep me playing through the whole game online games like COD i get bored so fast same thing over & over i like COD but get bored fast
There's only one thing I can say to help you to complete this bullshit, mute your television or pc. Seriously, it helps. The reward for completing advanced AR is a silver trophy, so unless you want platina, it's not really worth it imo.

Fuck me this proper tests your patience and is hard as fuck and annoys me after a while,reminds me when you had to learn how to fly in grand theft auto san andreas going through the rings.I have had to basically bite the bullet and give up trying and get some tips to do this,(which is why im watching this vid) even though i kept saying to myself im not going to get any advice and do this all alone with no help.

Completed everything except this FUCKING TUNNEL! Spend hours trying and still batman kisses metal clown's ass in the tunnel, bitch out and land, or get stuck while entering. Why the fuck does he need to do this shit anyway? In the whole game there are no episodes where you need to do something socomplicated . Its just dumb. And btw I played Contra on NES and I find it amazing. This however is unreasonable and poorly-made
JUST completed this on PC. You don't even have to hold "W" after you jump, it's all about mouse movement that keeps you "hovering" once you enter the tunnel. You have to pull up very gently or he just soars strait up into to wall and if you don't move the mouse enough, he comes in for a landing... frustrating, but possible!!
I thought I would never pass this. It's not getting into the tunnel that is a pain. It's halfway through the tunnel that you hit the stupid pipes on the ceiling if you don't press dive real quick.
that one with the tunnel is fucking retarded... absolutely no reason for it to be that hard and random... even jumping off, you have to make sure you are looking just right or you miss the first ring altogether... most annoying aspect of this game BY FAR

I find it interesting that people find this harder to do on PC. With the 360 controller, you only have your left hand open to manipulate the left stick during gliding, but the right stick is very important for looking around and elevating the plane when you r gliding (which you can't freaken control, since your right hand is occupied holding down the gliding button!!!!!)
Whereas with mouse, you control all the movements simultaneously. It's way harder on 360 controller in my opinion.
Thank God i bought an Xbox Gamepad for my PC. It was useful for Arkham Asylum and it's crucial for Arkham City. Still took me about a 100 tries to get all those rings.
funny... minutes later, i finally managed to do it. man, it's reeeeally important to have an upwards motion by pulling down on the stick but of course not accidentally hit left/right (made me wish for a digi pad instead of that damn analog stick...). and correcting with dive bomb tapping.
Ok I can reach the first ring now, and I've tried so many times to get through the tunnel but it seems impossible. Has anyone else been able to do this on PC?
@EternaL1fe I haven't unfortunately played on PC, but from all the comments I have seen on my video here, it does seem to sound like it's hard to control Batman while diving and gliding, etc. Hope you get the hang of it!
@EternaL1fe It's impossible to do this on PC, the controls are too sensitive, you will either hit the first obstacle or just simply lose your swing and fail this mission. I'm trying the first one about 4 hours now, but no success. Just sent a mail to the developers with my best wishes... Yes, it contained the words FUCK YOU RETARDS. :D And this is my opinion about this whole augmented reality questline and about its creators.Good luck for all, who still has the nerves for this shit.
@MasterV999 Just forget about those stupid advanced training missions. At least the first training missions is possible, and not all that hard, and we get the powerful batclaw. As far as I am aware, there is actually no benefit from completing the advance training missions. So just get back to the main campaign, and have fun :) That's what I'm going to do lol
@EternaL1fe I have played the game both on PC and with 360 controller.
It's definitely doable with PC, in fact it's much easier, because with the mouse you control BOTH the Left and Right stick on the 360 controller simultaneously. Whereas with only the 360 controller, u can only move 1 stick at a time (a huge pain)
For the tunnel, do a long dive bomb close to the tunnel, then start tapping the dive bomb once or twice, and then just keep him stabilized thru the tunnel
I'm playing on PC, and I've passed the first training, and now with the advanced training, on the first part the ring is actually impossible to get! It's too high! On this video, the ring is much lower... what the heck lol ?! Anyone else playing this on PC also have same problem?

@Kyosama08 So true. I can't understand these kinda challenges, they are useless, u will get it eventually but there is no point having develop a skill that u will use only once or twice. I would rather have like 10 more hostage rescue missions from the riddler those were more fun. But the good part is u don't really need to do all those challenges and the majority of the game is fun so we complain but we are happy to play it because its great ;)

it took me like 20 minutes to do three of them but the last one ( subway) took me hours......there is no need to design this side mission soooo hard.......i really hope that whoever design this mission and whoever approved it get in a car accident......they can use my $ 59 to fix themselves.
@eddiehutch1 I completed this game fine unlocked everything, then this training took me more than the whole game (kidding, it took more), now i understand why videogames are dangerous to some people, lucky i just laugh and have an ocean of patience.
omfg. thought i would never get this with all that junk in the tunnel. did the first one last somehow but found out that one was the hardest. took me like 30-40 tries before i got it. was frigging hard!
For the first one after you get thru the second ring release the dive wait till u enter the tunnel and pull up and good luck trying to control thru all that shit. 1 hr trying but got it now 3-4 hrs on the 3 remaining lol -:-(
It doesn't work, when i tilt my mouse, batman is still diving downwards while i look up. So technically you batman diving vertically when you do that. Any solution ?
@Timeslasher123: While holding space, press lctrl to dive and gain speed. Release lctrl (still holding space) and point slightly upwards with the mouse and you'll pull up. HTH

@lgm156 That's kind of funny you say that. Because I did this right when I first started playing the game, and made the videos so people wouldn't hopefully endure the hours of frustration that I did haha... and to get the grapnel boost, because it was definitely useful!
Yeah I finished the basic stuff early on for the grapple upgrade. The game gives you a message about the grapnel boost reward near the beginning. I finished the main game storyline but have not beaten the Advanced Augmented Reality training. Right now AR training #1 is kicking my ass! : (

It took me 2 hours of non stop grinding on the first mission.
I don't know how I did it.
It just went perfect on a dive just like any other.
Didn;t even have to use the divebomb twice.
Whoever thought this wwould be a fun challenge for an experienced gamer should get his head checked.
Never again will I attempt this.

Ok I can reach the first ring now, and I've tried so many times to get through the tunnel but it seems impossible. Has anyone else been able to do this on PC?

@EternaL1fe I haven't unfortunately played on PC, but from all the comments I have seen on my video here, it does seem to sound like it's hard to control Batman while diving and gliding, etc. Hope you get the hang of it!

@EternaL1fe It's impossible to do this on PC, the controls are too sensitive, you will either hit the first obstacle or just simply lose your swing and fail this mission. I'm trying the first one about 4 hours now, but no success. Just sent a mail to the developers with my best wishes... Yes, it contained the words FUCK YOU RETARDS. :D And this is my opinion about this whole augmented reality questline and about its creators.Good luck for all, who still has the nerves for this shit.

@MasterV999 Just forget about those stupid advanced training missions. At least the first training missions is possible, and not all that hard, and we get the powerful batclaw. As far as I am aware, there is actually no benefit from completing the advance training missions. So just get back to the main campaign, and have fun :) That's what I'm going to do lol

@EternaL1fe I have played the game both on PC and with 360 controller.
It's definitely doable with PC, in fact it's much easier, because with the mouse you control BOTH the Left and Right stick on the 360 controller simultaneously. Whereas with only the 360 controller, u can only move 1 stick at a time (a huge pain)
For the tunnel, do a long dive bomb close to the tunnel, then start tapping the dive bomb once or twice, and then just keep him stabilized thru the tunnel

I'm playing on PC, and I've passed the first training, and now with the advanced training, on the first part the ring is actually impossible to get! It's too high! On this video, the ring is much lower... what the heck lol ?! Anyone else playing this on PC also have same problem?

This tunnel is actually magic. You won't loose heighе while gliding through it. So knowing this makes task easy. AND just makes it completable.

WTF!!! Fuck you Rocksteady. Do you really think that people enjoy flying through rings? Ever heard of Superman 64? I think that you should go through your whole dev. team and tell them if they can't fly through the tunnel within 25 tries they're fired. And then we will see who is left if anyone.
I bought this fucking game for the story and the gameplay. They never mentioned the fucking rings.

@Kyosama08 So true. I can't understand these kinda challenges, they are useless, u will get it eventually but there is no point having develop a skill that u will use only once or twice. I would rather have like 10 more hostage rescue missions from the riddler those were more fun. But the good part is u don't really need to do all those challenges and the majority of the game is fun so we complain but we are happy to play it because its great ;)

they key in my opinion is to press R2 ( dive ) for no more than 1 second. anything longer than that will make batman to pick up too much speed

it took me like 20 minutes to do three of them but the last one ( subway) took me hours......there is no need to design this side mission soooo hard.......i really hope that whoever design this mission and whoever approved it get in a car accident......they can use my $ 59 to fix themselves.

For the first one after you get thru the second ring release the dive wait till u enter the tunnel and pull up and good luck trying to control thru all that shit. 1 hr trying but got it now 3-4 hrs on the 3 remaining lol -:-(

@Timeslasher123: While holding space, press lctrl to dive and gain speed. Release lctrl (still holding space) and point slightly upwards with the mouse and you'll pull up. HTH

@lgm156 That's kind of funny you say that. Because I did this right when I first started playing the game, and made the videos so people wouldn't hopefully endure the hours of frustration that I did haha... and to get the grapnel boost, because it was definitely useful!

Yeah I finished the basic stuff early on for the grapple upgrade. The game gives you a message about the grapnel boost reward near the beginning. I finished the main game storyline but have not beaten the Advanced Augmented Reality training. Right now AR training #1 is kicking my ass! : (
