Yes he is. :) I read the manga and they kept that name at least in the english version of it. And "Daddy Walrus" is Shunsaku-Ban. :3

Well on the 2003 series of Astro Boy, Dr. Elefun didn't actually create Astro he just revived him. You see, Dr. Tenma had de-activated Astro before that. And in my opinion, the 2003 Astro Boy series did not so-called "lose the actual concept" I enjoyed watching every episode and was satisfied and inspired by every idea they'd come up with in the newer series. I'm just disappointed that I didn't get into Astro Boy when it first came out on TV in 2003, watching it online just isn't the same :-(

Yeah, I think the 2003 verison lost the concept actually, like Dr Elefun created Astro, not his real dad, you know what I mean
