1st- its hard for other people then pashtuns to understand it.

India has English and hindi as its official language but the anthem is in hindi so is in Pakistan. The problem is that if we make our anthem in dari as well....so tomorrow Uzbek, turkmen, baloch brothers will also come and want anthem to be in their language as well. So its better to keep the national anthem and other national prides in our nation language which is Pashto. in many multi-language countries the national anthem is in one language or its just instrumental with no human voice!

@spinghar which document says that Afghanistan's national language is Pashto? 50% of afghans speak Dari as their first language and only 35% speaks pashto, including second language speaker. Here in Canada we have French and English and the anthem is in both language.

The current afghan anthem has no multiculturalism because most people doesn't understand it, no professionalism, and worst composing music ever. Do not take it as a offense, because it has facts, compare it with other countries.

Unlike Iran, Pakistan and many other countries in the world, we have never forbidden non Pashtuns to forget their own language. We have given them the freedom to have their own languages, culture, history. Iran has also many non fars population but they all (Azaris, Koerds, Arabs and others) they all speak Farsi. If we would have done that then we would not have this discussion now. Afghan hospitality have limits!
