  • Thanks for the recommendation! I really enjoyed it.

  • I love surprises... I Like to give their.

    It not flattery, and reciprocity...

  • English Translation:

I love surprises, I like to give them.

    It's not flattery, it's reciprocity.

    (Thanks Schtichmus)

  • Attention Shoga Fans:

My Russian friend Schtichmus has reimagined this song and posted it as a video response. I was impressed with the results so I sanctioned it. Check it out and when you're done listen to some of his other work. He's amazing.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery.

    Thanks, comrade, truly.

  • Here is the video since he migrated to the new account name YKPOII:

  • yeah you can definately go further then youtbe with this material. you should send a sample of your stuff to sony, who knows maybe you can get a contract.

  • Thanks, that was a nice thing to say. But, why Sony?

As soon as I can settle on an artist name I will be putting my music up on select music listening sites as well. In the meantime my artist name is as elusive to me as wind, much to my chagrin.

In case you care, this song uses a special combo of phasers AND flangers.

  • Industry kills music!!

  • Agreed. I like to see myself as talented but yet no one really seems to care because music is no longer measured with the ear or heart, but rather with a position in the charts. The extreme overplaying of songs on the radio forces the listener eventually to let down his/her guard long enough for the music to indoctrinate them. Repetition breeds Familiarity breeds Acceptance.

When will people realize that they don't need Record Companies to decide for them what music to listen to?

  • If people would just create more art programs and value art they would empower more people like me to emerge as something viable rather than a niche in the underground. We need musician's guilds to form in each city where people can meet and form bands and relationships that will ultimately result in a musical artistic revolution. Trust me, after nearly a decade of garbage and re-runs on the radio, America needs it bad.

If the individual musician is empowered, the industry will be no more.

  • You can call yourself a real artist. You understand the nature of art, it shows up in your music and your attitude. You are a good example for other people. even for big producers like timbaland. they can learn from you, instead of broadcasting a album full of good looking whores who collect money for the big pimp.

todays problem is that music and artists (not only) are treated like whores, and no1 recognizes the real value of a melody or a human being.

    kill the industry!

    withdraw their food!

  • Thanks for the nice words and stimulating conversation.

You are indeed correct. The artist is shown as being doted upon and having everything they desire handed to them. In reality they are prisoners to the industry. The contract they sign relinquishes all personal freedom in the pursuit of money. Why would a huge recording giant want to endanger their profits? They wouldn't... so they enslave the artist to guarantee their money in the future. It's a terrible life.

    Luckily things are changing

  • With the idea of groups like Radiohead releasing their albums for free on the internet, letting you decide what YOU want to pay, what YOU think the album is worth is just revolutionary.

Another way to do this is to simply release your albums for free or at a nominal cost while spiking the cost of a ticket to be seen live. People would pay 80 bucks a ticket if they got your entire cd collection for free.I am sure if you add that up the fan gets the better end of the bargain.Future kills industry.

  • like freetek... man you are so right...

like a REAL, EXISTING customer satisfaction

its the attitude of many hacker groups "first you try it then (if you like it) you buy it"

i like your idea with the unique musicians guilds, this would be very revolutionary and would muck out the wrong attitude from many people.

  • True. People resist change. That's why you got all these Republicans like Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh basically sowing dissent among the ranks in America. I definitely wouldn't want anything like that turned against me - that's for sure.

I got all kinds of ideas, now if only a whole bunch of people would notice. :)

The guild is coming I can sense it. It must be my duty to gather electronic musicians together and let them shine. Wanna join?

  • i love your work, this one and anticipation are really good. Your style is very unique, your music has passion more so then most electronic, and a meaning behind it, even without words. Love the easy listening sound, and the flanger is hot

  • This is in every way amazing music. I love your description on how you felt when you created this. Nice soothing feel throughout. 5*'s

  • The bassline is my favourite sound in this song, And at 3:00 it's very beautiful. That phased sound in the background is good.

  • In a way this song is my flagship of the fleet.

I still have many songs to remix and new ones coming all the time so that may change, but this song will always be one of my favorites.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. You are a good YouTube friend.

  • Wow, you have some real talent, my friend. Excellent music and the effects with all the lights are incredible.

5 ***** for sure, and faved of course XD

  • I'm glad you like the song.

Thanks for the compliments. It's hard to find people who appreciate electronic music as much as I do. You must be good people.

Subscribe if you want, because there is a lot more on its way! It took me over 5 years to get to this level, and I wrote a lot of songs on the way. Probably 2 albums worth.

It's my bro ChucklesJH who makes the videos. The credit is his to take. He does do some exceptional work.

  • Yeah you should really turn ratings on, there would be no reason or excuse for anybody to give you anything under a 5.

Also, I love the concept to it.

  • Well, I can't ignore a request. Call it a throwback to my performing days.

    Rate away, my man.

  • Done.

  • Feel free to be my first subscriber too. I will have more videos up really soon I promise. It will be worth the subscription. I have 2 albums worth of music to release.

  • Thanks for saying that mate. It means everything to me. That part does rock a little bit doesn't it?

  • I can't rate it but i would have given it 5 stars. My favourite of all your music, especially around 1:20

  • ratings enabled - go for it.

  • Rated :)
