  • i want this game for my intellivision!! great reveiw!

  • CALLATE !! un ratico ...

  • I was laughing when you were calling the Foods Mr. i.e. Mr.Pickle Mr.Hotdog :)

  • instead of worrying about what kind of terrible cliche stock metal band your gonna have during your intro, you could worry about your intro being focused...

  • @ChristBurner

This video is over a year old I have a new intro now. Maybe you should have focused on the review instead of the intro? The music for the intro was made by one person who is a good friend. But hey, I'm used to getting terrible cliche comments from faceless people on youtube.

  • @sinistermoon hahaha touche.. sorry man i dont kow why that came out so....dick-head-bastard-fuck-faceish

  • @ChristBurner

Not a big deal. Thanks for checking out the video anyhow. Maybe take a look at my new HD videos if you have any interest in newer games.

  • I usually can make it to level 7 and then loose all my Guys but if I get past level 7 I will get to level 7 again and die. If I save up on peppers but sacrifice guys that is usually how I make it past level 7.

  • the burger meat looks like its gone off, been left on the counter for too long >_>

but yeah, iv probably played burger time once or twice ever...but there is one game that i remember in a similar vien....you assemble food on conveyourbelts.....but yeah i just bought a load of games for the atari 2600 in a bundle, like 32 of them...burger time was among them

  • @Xegethra

I think that was just the capture. The meat looks brown on my TV.

  • great game. Thanks for sharing this with us. That Level 7 is a pain! I've beatn it but it's a tough one. Diner is a great game too. all the same characters.

  • Each level has a different way to group them, to do so, you just need to keep in mind that the eggs and piccles go up when you are in the same level that they are and there is a ladder on the way, the brown guy goes down.

My personal record in Burgertime is 2.400.000, but you can do better if you don't lose any points by letting one of the guys out, which is harder, the intellivision controller isn't the best around.

    Sorry about the english.

  • @Mago1982

You should make a video of that!

  • @sinistermoon

Just send like answer to your video :)

Only first stage, but i think that you can get the idea.

  • I a huge burgertime intellivision fan, and all i it's nice to see other people enjoing this too. But, i think you will be amazed that you can make groups in every level to kill EVERY enemy in each hamburger, so you can do 70.000 points in the first stage, more than 200k in the second, and so on. You can get more than 100 lifes (the counter gets 99). Even in stage 7 you cand kill all the enemies in each hamburger.

  • Great review bro, and nice playing. =)

  • Burgertime is my favorite game of all time.

  • I had Burgertime when I was a kid on the TI-994a, it was pretty awesome.

  • bla blaa bla blabla blalala bla bla blaa blabla bla bla blaa bla blalala blaaa bla blaa lblalal bla bla bllaaa blabla bla blala z z z z z z z z z z z z z z . . . . . . . . . . . . .

  • ooh phew, you have that small green dot on the right towards about 3/4 of the way up the screen, i thought that was just a bug in my cartridge lol

  • Got this with my intellivision earlier this week, love it, absolutely addicted!!! I'm now drinking some beer so I can have even more fun on the game lol!!!! When i'm really drunk, i will crack out astrosmash lol

  • Level 7 was the level for me that also was the hardest for me, I usually would loose the game on unless I had a bunch of peppers. I think once I got lucky and actually cleared level 7 twice in one game.

I called Level 3 the gimmie board because I could always clear that level without dying unless I messed up with a bad move or had the occasional controller bot moving the way I wanted it to.

  • This is the first game I received for my Intellivision. The game is great and plays fast. I do not know why some people complain about Intellivision games being slow. They must not know that they need to press the disc for the fastest speed.

  • Nice, more retro!

  • Good review, don't know too much about the Intellivision so I'll be watching more of your vids!

  • cool review...burgrtime is cool

  • Yeah that is a really sweet intro! It definitely sets a good tone for the review :)

I favorited this. I liked your breakdown on the enemies in the game. Mr. Pickle! heh

  • Nice intro. ;)

  • Wow I completely forgot about Burgertime. I haven't played it in years...

  • Hey, sinistermoon, really enjoyed this review. They are maturing very well--keep on keepin' on!

  • good review man. i didn't know you did retro reviews also. nice stack of dreamcast controllers BTW.

  • Yeah I started out doing the retro series first. But when I started I had to use emulators because I had no way to capture video. I brought the show back because now that I do I feel I can make the videos that much better. Plus, I am a little better at editing then I was then. I really like reviewing Intellivision games since it was my first console and I have been playing Intellivision games for over 22 years now.

  • Are you still using emulators? I can give you some advice if you need it on how to actually run an A/V feed to you computer from the console.

  • No dude I am not using emulators. I can give you advise to make your Intellivision videos from shaking if you want. What you see in this video is the real deal.

  • I got the Intellivision shake thing sorted out - bad RF unit in the Intellivision console, problem fixed. You do get an exceptional A/V feed from your Intelivision though. Is it modified with composite jacks or are you running through the RF? It's definitely crisp enough that it could be mistaken for emulator stuff.

  • Its through the RF.

  • awesome! Loved that vid. Really brought back memories. You got all the best games man

  • Although the hamburger looks like green shit, it still seems to be a pretty good translation there.

  • I think that the colors of the hamburgers changed slightly during encoding for some reason. Because they don't look like that when I play it on a normal tv or whatever. All the other colors look right tho. Oh well lol. The concept of walking on a big turd makes me like the game even more lol.

  • Man you reviews rock - love being a subscriber to your stuff - much better than that twat Jezuzfreak777 and his dumb-ass views! Seriously, go watch that mofo and listen to his dickhead rantings!

  • Thanks! I have watched a couple of his videos. Didn't care for them at all.

  • I'm slowly getting through the other videos you've posted, your style is very engaging for me and your opinions interest me. Got any plans to review Way of the Exploding Fist on the Spectrum? Used to love that game!

  • I wish I had a Spectrum man. My friend had one back in the day and I loved playing it. But my family was too poor to buy something that cool. The only reason we had an Intellivision is because my parents were at a Christmas party and my Dad got a EQ for his car and some dude offered to trade that for the Intellivision and some games. And at the time the EQ was like $100 and the Intellivision was $299 so he made the trade.

  • Great trade! My Spectrum was handed down to me from my dad, then it broke so i bought another one from a carboot sale. Then that broke too! Wish i'd had an Intellivision, hell wish i had every retro console going! I'm slowly trying to build up a collection but it's not going well. Can't wait for your next video mate :)

  • Overall a very good review, but I would probably rate the Intelivision the winner over coleco but they each have different things going for it. The funny thing about BT, is that it really wasn't very popular in the arcade, it enjoyed a great deal of success on the consoles though. Just about ever computer system and console had a BT version, most of them very good. Despite bad graphics, the 2600 version is ok, but pales against the intelivision. Great review.

  • Burgertime is always a fun time on any console.

  • I really wish the burger meat didn't look like lumpy green turds. But other than that the game looks solid. And fun!

  • Thats the lettuce man lol.

  • haha intellivision was my first console! mission x and frogger where my game of choice :)

  • It's 2am, and I could go for a hamburger right now, lol.

Nice review. I've always enjoyed Burgertime, and this verison looks very good.

  • Burger time is a Classic fun game along with games like LadyBug, lock n Chase etc Burgertime is right up there! I love it on my colecovision.....good review man!

  • Dude, I saw a copy of Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story in your into...that game was fun :D

  • hmm my original comments were posted :(

was just saying i use to play bugertime on NES, very addicting and very frustrating game! oh yeah and rockin intro track !
