With the success of their musical, I'm willing to bet they're going to stop South Park once their contract has ended (I think they're contracted for 2 more seasons or so). But I'm hoping they'll make a second movie to end it all.

These dudes are awesome and yeah, they didn't seem too enthusiastic about South Park. But, I can't say that I blame them. Their coming up to their 15th season. Sounds like what they do is very exhausting. And sadly, all good things must come to an end eventually. I think they both deserve a break after working their asses off! Thank you Matt and Trey, you guys kick major ass!

@treyissexy87 If you listen to the commentaries, they are never enthusiastic to go back to work on SP. They mentioned in season 8's commentary how the season nearly killed them in terms of going from SP straight to a feature film, and back to SP with a total 2 week break. I would imagine a large part of their usual break after last season went into working on the book of mormon.

The Book Of Mormon on Broadway was the best thing I have ever seen in my life! They are hilarious and they need to keep making things. Greatest show ever!

Trey and Matt are my role models.  They look like they are so easy to talk to, but by the look of their expressions when Dave asks about South Park that the end may be near. It doesn't seem like they enjoy doing it anymore. :( That will be the saddest day in my life.

@HuskerHighlights They've always said that they don't enjoy doing South Park, so that's nothing new. They'll probably stop pretty soon, but it's for the best. I don't want something as sacred as South Park to turn into a caricature of itself
