I've been reading that sand in a freshwater tank can be extremely detrimental, as it holds and harbors toxins and unfriendly bacteria. Have you found this to be true/a problem?
very good looking tank! I just have a question about the plants, what were the 2 in the very back left (kinda tall), and the one that was right by the driftwood it was kind of small and light green on the left? Thanks.
Niesamowicie wygląda... Niby prosto, ale bardzo naturalnie przy czym zachowane są wszystkie normy które powinny być zachowane przy tworzeniu akwarium...
yo japes, your name is quite common in my world lol. all i keep is geos and i have kept everything from WC manaus to my wc heckelli pair. I currently have a colony of 11 red head araguias that i got shipped in as a favor from a friend. I must say your tanks have been the inspiration for my 90g araguias
That is the most epic peice of wood i have ever seen. Now THAT is what i call a tree root hardscape! Simply stunning. I'm very envious you have been able to find such a piece, where on earth did you get it from.
I use a stainless steel scraper, designed for cleaning saltwater algae but works fantastically in fresh water as well, particularly for Black Beard Algae.
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT STUMP FROM??? It is BEAUTIFUL

That piece of wood you used its beautifull!
Maybe with less fish, a sand more yellow and some leaves it could be even greater.
Congratulations!

The majority of these fish, particularly the Eartheaters, are accustomed to very little vegetation in their natural environment.
The Valisneria is only there to cover the surface (which it does more effectively now) to dim the lights.
